Driving along Broadway right before getting to Hawthorne we've noticed the this food truck that said "Hibachi"! My wife and I were excited to try it out. Finally we made it to Cali Crew Hibachi Grill today Let me tell you they did not disappoint. We got the Steak and Scallop combo bowl with no rice, only veggies. It was phenomenal! Being from the Bay Area i have been missing sooooo many food options here in eureka. Seeing this truck a few times on yelp i finally tried it because i was craving hibachi and it was so good! Great food and great service! We got the NY steak and shrimp combo, golden miso sauce, mozzarella sticks with marinara sauce and a guava agua fresca. The combo was enough for two people or one with leftovers. I appreciated the agua fresca was not overly sweetened. Try them out! It's great to have a different local food truck option. read more

I think this place is just slightly over hyped. I went there on my lunch once in fortuna and the thing said they opened at like 1130/12. Well I called to place an order and the guys answered the phone like a personal call, I asked if this was the right number and he said yeah. I should have hung up but figured okay they were busy, well he ended up saying that they were running late to the spot and they wouldn't be open for another 20 minutes soo said okay, I'll try to go in person, was able to order food, had to wait another 20 minutes to get it and then when I got back to my office to eat it, it was inedible. I wasted $40 here including tip on myself alone. Definitely won't be eating there again. read more

Quick service and nice hot food. Can't review the miso sauce but I tried the yum yum, different but it grew on me. Love the rice and chicken was not dry and thoroughly cooked. $13+ tax and I was very happy with the weight in the bowl. Give them a try! read more

I had the salmon and chicken combo and it was great. The salmon was well seasoned and cooked really well. The chicken was tender and the grilled vegetables were really tasty. The fried rice it was served on was a nice texture and had a lot of peas and carrots. The portions are HUGE. You could easily split this with someone. Or have a great second meal: this would reheat well. I would definitely recommend this place. Check them out if you haven't. read more

Overcooked coconut shrimp, overcooked crab ragoons with very little filling. Chicken bowl was terrible and super bland. $50 meal and I had to get a gas station hot dog (which was an improvement) for my parter right afterwards because she couldn't eat what we were served. 01/10 would not recommend. Ordered the scallops and NY strip. Definitely did not seem to be NY strip I would bet it was top sirloin and the scallops were fishy and inedible. Fried rice and veggies were not seasoned and bland. It's an alright spot, but I got the shrimp bowl for $16 which came with 8 shrimp and some oily rice which I thought was underwhelming. Also whatever the cream cheese or white sauce is, it's not very good it just tastes like cream cheese frosting I have no idea what they were thinking. I feel like I could have made better at home and for $16 this is definitely not worth it. Get the chicken if you do because I've heard they give more portion of protein. read more
