There's a surcharge when paying for registration, but that is well worth the convenience that they offer. (They have to get paid somehow.) I can use my credit card, and I get the tags right then and there. No wait for the mail or other hiccups that can occur when trying to pay through the DMV. Sometimes there's a bit of a line. The line does move quickly. But I'm also happy to go grab a coffee somewhere and come back. The office is located on the first floor of the West America Bank building. As mentioned by a few other Yelpers- the gentleman doing the scanning is not very personable. He was a bit intimidating. Have your ID and all necessary forms filled out and ready to go. The entire process takes 3 minute- unless there is a line of people. I'd bring cash because he charges extra if you use a card.
