I'm going to try to be as respectful as possible with this review, but I am absolutely devastated and extremely upset with what happened to my brand new 2025 Ford Bronco. Ford (who I want to clarify is not at fault here) sent my vehicle to this company after, just a few days after purchase, the paint on my passenger-side door started bubbling. Ford handled the situation and explained that Caliber Collision would sand down and repaint the door, and that I would have my truck back by the end of the day. Unfortunately, there was apparently a miscommunication between Ford and Caliber Collision. Instead of repairing the issue, the shop only took pictures to create an estimate -- something Ford had already done. My vehicle had to stay overnight so they could work on it first thing the next morning. While I understood that, I expected my brand new vehicle to be taken care of. The next day we were told it was ready for pickup. When my friend and I arrived, my Bronco was in worse condition than when I dropped it off. I was honestly heartbroken and had tears in my eyes because this is my brand new truck. We went inside and respectfully asked to speak with a manager because, understandably, this was unacceptable. The receptionist (a heavier-set woman with brown hair) gave us an extremely unpleasant look, as if we were an inconvenience for bringing up a legitimate concern. We were told the manager was on lunch/break, which I completely understand, so another employee came out to speak with us. We explained the issues, including the poor quality of the repair and the fact that my door was not even aligned properly afterward. My friend said "this is bullshit" while expressing his frustration -- he was not being aggressive or irrational. Considering how upsetting the situation was, we remained much calmer than we could have been. The employee apologized and said they would bring the vehicle back into the shop that evening and fix it first thing the next morning. At that point, we were still extremely disappointed because the work done was unprofessional and my brand new vehicle was not treated with the care it deserved. We contacted Ford to explain what happened, and we were shocked to hear that the same employee who apologized to us reported that we "cussed him out." Saying "this is bullshit" out of frustration is nowhere near the way I could have reacted after seeing my brand new vehicle returned in worse condition. I will never use this business again, and I will be sharing my experience with others. A brand new vehicle deserves attention to detail, professionalism, and respect -- and unfortunately, that is not what I experienced here. read more

Curtis and Jennifer lied on me. I went over to get my things out of my vehicle. Never gave them verbal authorization for my vehicle to be removed. I asked for an estimate and informed Curtis that I was going to contact the insurance because the ACV of the vehicle was more than the estimate. I talk to the insurance company today they state I gave verbal authorization for my vehicle to be picked up. I didn't give verbal authorization for my vehicle to be picked up. After I got my things I realized my handicapped sticker was not in my things and went back to ask for it. My vehicle was still there this was around 11pm. I even went and checked to look in the vehicle from Curtis verbal authorization. It was still there. In state farm system it states my vehicle was picked up at 10:30 am. I was there at 10:30 cleaned my vehicle out around that time. Wasn't finish until after about 10:50. Came back asked about my handicap sticker. Today Jennifer says it was picked up at 11:10 am yesterday. Somebody telling lies. I don't expect for anybody to admit to the lies. I expect for everybody whose got bills to pay to lie and make me look like the vilian while they remain the victim. Now I'm out of a vehicle and no gives a fck and none of this is my fault. Jennifer and Curtis are big fat liars. Curtis knows I never gave them verbal authorization. No way my actions gave them an impression to do anything when my words were never spoken. I never gave verbal authorization like they stated to the State Farm. Jennifer ass was being spiteful due to me confronting them about the handicap sticker which is the one you hang on the mirror. Of course I'm a black girl. We all know Lynchburg is full of racist white people. We all know Virginia is one of the settled 13 colonies and that racism is discrimination is rampant upon this land. No matter how much one white person here does not want to admit it. Jennifer and Curtis did this being spiteful to me. Discrimination at the highest rate and not all that racism as well. They were because I stated I don't expect for anyone to admit a wrong doing. Not to mention when I spoke to Jennifer on the phone and she heard my phone say it was recording ahe hung up on me. I called back with the belief we some how got disconnected. I dont expect for Jennifer or Curtis to admit that I'm telling the truth and they are lying. I expect for them to do everything they can to cover their asses. Even go as far as deleting footage of being on the lot. Only Curtis and I were at my car when I was asking questions. She gone say she was outside. There is no way she heard the conversation Curtis and I had. My car was in the back of the lot. She was no where in my reach. I dont even recall seeing her. I do recall seeing the secretary standing back there. I did not give verbal authorization for my vehicle to be released to anyone. Jennifer and Curtis were being spiteful and thats real fucked up. Its a shame that here in Lynchburg there is nobody black that we can go to and have vehicles fixed. That this big corporations only have information ran by white people and we get trashed when we speak up about anything here in this city. It is disgusting that people like Jennifer and Curtis exist. They have power and used it to destroy me. Thinking it was there way of getting back at me. I never gave them verbal authorization or gave them the impression of sending my vehicle anywhere. I never signed any paperwork with them or state farm for authorization. As I was still trying to figure out how I'm going to get me another vehicle. Lynchburg services suck. I've never seen anything like this in my life. Maybe I've been around to many black people like me. I guess the black folks used to being mistreated and just walk away with there heads down and tail tucked. I'm sick of this. I bet Jennifer and Curtis know the people who driving and working for the tow company called them and told them and they all laughed feeling like the where fixing me. Probably wasn't even expecting for me to call back and figure this out. All this bogus shit. They should be fired. Oh but my GOD I serve gone fix everybody involved. Jennifer and Curtis and whoever else was intentionally involved in the destruction. For Satan only comes to kill steal and destroy and thats exactly what they did. It was funny yesterday when they did. But by GOD they will be crying before this is all over with. Just remember what goes around comes around. He and she who laughs first won't laugh last. 5 weeks is how long its going to take before Caliber starts on my car, if parts need to be ordered it could take up to two months!!! That is insanity. I was lucky that my car was still drivable. If a rental had to be paid during that time it would have been in the THOUSANDS just for a car rental. read more

Drove a car here for repair work - a month goes by... while the car was with them it became undrivable, 'totaled,' and left their lot in a lot worse shape then when it was driven in. *Community Manager - this shop was given numerous opportunities to right what was wronged as the situation snowballed into total disaster. Caliber collision's ability to communicate and respect others' property was nonexistent. I did not receive either. I cannot and do not recommend caliber collision. read more

I took my brand new vehicle for repairs and they did a horrible job. Instead of repairing my scratched up bumper they buffed it out and it only lasted a few months. The district manager showed old damage on one side but not side where the damage in question was. They showed picture of bumper off the car but no actual work. I am seeking legal advice and I will be picketing their establishment to keep them from ripping off anyone else read more

Trevor and Ashley at caliber collision have awesome customer service. They are very welcoming and gave great customer service. Trevor explained everything in detail and was extremely patient and courteous even when I called him 20 times in a week lol. My car was not complete the day it was promised but not due to anything on caliber collisions part. One piece for my car is on back order so that is completely out of their hands. I picked up my car without the missing piece and then I noticed my AC wasn't working and I called Trevor and brought it right in and he took care of the issue immediately! Would not recommend to anyone for the following reasons: 1) The manufacturers they use are not reliable. They had to go through 5 new bumpers because the first four were damaged which pushed back the day I was supposed to picked up my car. 2) My car battery died in their lot. Apparently it was dead when they started the work and had to jump it each time they moved. I was never notified. I had gotten it checked about two months ago and was told it would be good for the next 1-2 years. Knowing that, they still told me it was my issue to fix and did not replace it. In addition to that, they did not tell me it was dead when I called to make an over the phone payment so I could pick it up after hours. They also parked me in so I couldn't jump it, even if I was aware of the issue. The individual that should have informed me did not because he said he had a high workload the day before. That is not acceptable and he could not look me in the eye while telling me that which I find suspicious. 3) They overcharged me my out of pocket payment by almost $200. When I asked to have that reimbursed, I was told it may take a few weeks because corporate needed to get involved. It ended up that they were able to reverse a portion of the charges over the phone but I am still waiting for the funds to be returned to me (hasn't been 2-3 business days so I'm letting that run it's course). 4) I received a call about 15 minutes before I was supposed to pick up my car saying they locked my keys in my car. However, when I showed up my car was running. Apparently they either lost them temporarily or forgot to check the lock box. I didn't receive clarification on that, but I find it highly unprofessional. 5) They are not easy to communicate with. When I asked for clarification on things, I was told details would be available when I picked up my car. No one seemed to know timeframes for when things would be available and when processing would take place. 6) The day I dropped my car off, they did not have the approved estimate from my insurance. I told them they needed to get that updated before they could start. The individual went in back, signed the approved estimate, sent it back to my insurance company, but it was past normal timeframes and the guy doing it did not even know that came through. I find that highly unprofessional as I could have been charged for things that would not be covered due to the lack of attention to detail. I'm grateful to have my car back, however, the customer service and level of communication is very poor. This is not a reliable company and I will not be returning if I have future issues. read more

I was involved in an accident, and apparently Caliber is one of a handful of auto body shops in the area that is accepting Geico accident claims. Caliber was very helpful in regard to squeezing my vehicle in to their schedule and getting the repair process going. Unfortunately, my car is rather uncommon in the U.S., so Caliber was unable to do the necessary repairs because their frame machine was incompatible with my vehicle (not that it mattered because my vehicle was eventually totaled anyways). However, they were very prompt in letting me know and provided me guidance on how to proceed with Geico. They allowed me to keep my vehicle in their lot while I sorted things out on my end, and were again very friendly when I eventually had to clean out my car and give them permission to release the vehicle to Geico to take to a salvage yard. All in all, the shop itself did a good job. It was just bad luck on my end. Also, shoutout to Ashley at the front desk; she was my primary point of contact throughout the whole ordeal and was very pleasant every time I spoke with her. read more

Do not use this new facility. The car insurance I have suggested it (GEICO) apparently they are part owner of this. I was fine with going there, try it out, I had hit a deer. My car was there almost 3 WEEKS. I was getting calls from mechanics there saying the car was almost ready/close to re-assembly and such. Then I get a call -3 days before it was suppose to be done- they decided to total my car. I was not real upset Geico did give me value of the car and life went on. I went over to CALIBER to get the stuff out of my car. I then asked the girl who was working up front if she could get someone to get my tag off the car so I could turn it into DMV. RUDE. She looks at me and says she could find me a screw driver and I can do that stuff myself....I said um no I suggest maybe a worker who was already back there with the car, could get it off me for me. She said they was too busy and I would need to figure it out. I then asked a 3rd time to please get someone to help me with getting the tag off. She then gets angry, storms out the front and says she found someone who will get it off the car after rolling her eyes and starring at me. NEEDLESS TO SAY I got the TAG(WOW) and I will NEVER EVER suggest ANY ONE to go there. The mechanics lied about the vehicle-nothing had been done to car when I got there, and the girl up front acts like she shouldn't have get up out her chair. New company in Lynchburg for auto collision repairs..don't waste your time just go somewhere that is already known for their work. read more
