They also answered every question I had about how this repair would go as well as how to prevent future breakdowns. By every question I literally mean every random question a driver with less than 2 years experience and less than 2 ounces of common sense could come up with. "Is that an exercise machine...do you install ellipticals on trucks?" "No, ma'am. That is a truck grill." The level of service on my repair was exceptional as well. This was also when they were crazy busy so there was no reason for them to be this polite and considerate other than a sincere commitment to excellence. The facilities are delightful. There is a shower, free laundry, and a quiet room as well as free wifi. This is great because it allowed me to go from feeling that side of the road for 12 hours feeling to feeling like a human being again. I can honestly say that I'm not dreading my next repair. No one wants to breakdown but I felt exceptionally taken care of so I'm not as worried. It is a great place outside of the big city vibe of Chicago with great food and hotels in walking distance so very much so worth stopping by.

This past winter I lost traction pulling into my driveway and slid into the garage door, leaving a vertical dent and a large gap between the fender and the fender flare. I was determined to preserve the original paint and avoid body filler, so I called Wes. Even he wasn't sure at first if it could be fixed. A little while later I got a text from him with a progress photo--the dent was coming out. When he finished, the damage was completely gone. The factory paint is still intact and looks perfect. "Low Battery" and "Key not Detected" intermittently. Then died completely. So, I changed the battery, it worked for about a week then started acting up again the same way. I changed the battery yet again with the same results until I couldn't unlock my door. I contacted my salesperson, Shawn, via text and let him know I got locked out of my car because of this fob. I spoke with their service advisor. Both were unhelpful. I spoke with my salesperson the next day and I was told to drop my car off at the dealership for the day/night so they can "diagnose" the problem. I explained again that it will work for about a week when they change the battery. Then it will do the same thing. I asked if they can simply exchange this faulty fob with a working fob. He said again that they have to "diagnose" whether the fob works when they change the battery. I tried explaining again to no avail. I reminded him that I just purchased a brand-new 2024 CX-5 Premium in December. Again I asked if they could simply order me a new one then "diagnose" all you want with my faulty fob. A simple exchange. He said, "We're not going to order you a $380 key fob without going through the diagnosis period." I explained yet again about the situation and he replied with the same response. They'd rather make me drop my car off multiple times so they can keep trying to "fix" it with a new battery each time. A prime example of profit over customer service. I had to purchase my own key fob today so I don't get in another situation where I cannot unlock my door I highly recommend the Mazda CX-5, BUT you should definitely purchase one from a reputable Mazda dealership. Not this one.
