After taking a look at the heater he assured me he could check several systems to find the culprit and gave me an estimate. The work was completed in about an hour. He then showed me the various systems he had checked as well as the results. He ended up placing a new valve on the overflow system. He cleaned up the work area when he was done. He also took $50.00 off the quoted estimate and charged me $200.00. I found Khuma to be polite, and concerned. The quality of the work and the knowledge he demonstrated in the type of water heater system was impressive. He even quoted the amount to replace the entire system. I had an emergency, Brian was unavailable, but he had another experienced skilled plumber, Rob, out the same day to assess. An old cast iron sewage pipe cracked and was leaking into my basement and had to be replaced along with connections to upstairs toilets. The next day, Rob and Jaykri came to my rescue. They did the job under their own cost proposal and at a significantly lower price than a big-name competitor's proposal. Brian moved a schedule around to fit me in and got the job done in 1 day. (The other company could not even start until 3 days later) Rob and Jaykri even fixed a couple other odd plumbing issues (shower cartridges, broken valve knobs, etc.) while they were at my house. The Fluid Plumbing & Heating team were knowledgeable, professional, polite, and cleaned up after themselves. No one ever wants to need a plumber, but I am so happy to have them in my saved contacts. They not only cleaned my kitchen, but even organized the stuff on my counter top really well. They took out stuff from the cabinets and refrigerator, and cleaned the inside very well. Quote was $350, but they ended up working for 4 hours for my 1600 sqft 4-storage townhouse. Charged me $600 at the end. Not a good news to me but I'm happy with the result. Will hire them again.
