So, Amy contacted me and expressed she had never been treated in the manner I treated her; which…read morewas confusing. She stated she would offer to refund me the difference of what I paid her and whatever I thought the massage was worth. I thanked her and named a price. I sent a request for the refunded amount in VenMo. That was 4 days ago. I have not received a refund, nor have I heard from Amy. Instead I received a random message in Yelp from Amy telling me to write as many reviews as I like. This was odd and I flagged the content of the message exchange in Yelp so they can facilitate whatever was occurring between Amy and I. I then copied and pasted my reply to Amy into VenMo, hoping Amy would see it and acknowledge her offer to refund me for part of the cost. I still have not received the refund Amy offered nor have I received any communication from her to clarify what she did intend to communicate or to proceed with a refund she offered. So, at this point I presume she never meant to refund me, like she stated.‍ Approximately an hour after posting this, Amy accused me of harassing her.‍ Proceed with caution if you decide to reserve her services. First and last time for me.

I had one "professional" massage before this and it was awful. That was over 10 years ago. It was…read morethat bad. I did not feel good at all after that 1st experience & wanted to forget it happened. I'm so glad my friend talked me into giving this spot a go. The woman I had was incredible. She asked if I would like to add on the hot stones & I was glad I did. After all the work she did on my back, they felt amazing. She asked if I wanted it more gentle or harder & I opted for the hard. She knew what she was doing and worked out every known knot. She checked in with me periodically, which was nice. I wish I knew about this spot sooner! I'm sore in spots but in a good way. My muscles needed it.

Because of that, I felt comfortable referring a family member to give it a try a couple of weeks ago. Unfortunately, her experience was disappointing and honestly concerning. While her massage itself was already less than stellar, the situation at the end was what really crossed the line. She tipped her masseuse, Nancy, $10 -- which she felt was appropriate based on the service she received. Instead of accepting it, Nancy became visibly upset and began demanding more money, creating a very uncomfortable and unprofessional scene. My family member tried to calmly explain her reasoning, but Nancy continued to insist, and the situation escalated to the point where additional money was given just to diffuse the confrontation. Tipping should always be based on the quality of service and given voluntarily. It should never be demanded or coerced. That kind of behavior is unacceptable and reflects poorly on the business as a whole. I'm sharing this not to attack, but to highlight an experience that needs attention. No customer should feel pressured or uncomfortable when leaving a business.

The lady was nice, BUT…read more For the whole hour I felt like I couldn't relax. I felt like I was in a "fight or flight" mode. Survival mode. Felt like at any point, she could hurt me. Pressure was either too soft (non existent) or too hard in the wrong areas (like the bones). I was getting cramps throughout the session because wrong pressure was applied to the wrong areas. She doesn't know where the pressure points were nor try to identify them let alone how the movements should be. And she was clumsy. I didn't like how fast she was going as if she was rushing to get through it. Moving from random areas to random areas. Stretches didn't feel good. Hot stones didn't feel relaxing. When she was massing my neck, she pressed down so hard on my necklaces that my necklaces were scraping my skin. Just rough and clumsy. Massage session should feel smooth and flowing not kinks and awkward. I came out with more pain than when I first came in. 10 mins into the message, I felt like I wanted to tell the front desk to change person. Regret I didn't ask. $60 for the one hour massage and extra $20 for tips. When I left, the front desk lady didn't ask about my experience. Not a smart way to improve customer experience/retention. I would give her my honest answer. Will I return? Probably not. Pretty disappointed.
