He also installed plush berber carpets in our bedrooms which were done well. While one of the seams were not done to my satisfaction, he had his men come out and do it again. While he doesn't sell tiles, he has a person that does tiling for our kitchen, and did a great job. I had to supply the tiles. Lastly, we just recently found out that he does Plantation (French) Shutters, and kitchen cabinets, which we will be using Roger to do so.

Instead of standing behind their work and addressing the problem professionally, they seemed frustrated that we asked them to correct it. Their attitude changed noticeably--from friendly, responsive, and helpful to rude, dismissive, and uncooperative. Because of this experience, we will no longer be doing business with Affiliated Carpet, and I can no longer recommend them to others. It's disappointing to see a company that once earned our trust lose sight of the customer service that made them successful in the first place.

He counted all the materials he used and returned the ones that were unused. He walked with me after they were done and told me if there was anything I didn't like, they would fix it right away. For a perfectionist like me, I couldn't find one thing that was not perfect. I recently came in to purchase a reducer molding and quarter round to match the flooring I had bought just a few weeks earlier. When I compared the pieces, it was obvious the color didn't match. I politely pointed out the difference and asked if they could help me find the correct color. Instead of trying to help, the employee immediately became rude and simply said, "That's it. If you don't like it, don't buy it." I was honestly shocked by the lack of customer service. Mistakes happen, but treating a long-time customer with that kind of attitude is unacceptable. Their Answer was bc carpet had collected dust in the warehouse. Their Solution-"I" have it steamed cleaned! Non-negotiable!!! Offered to change the room's carpet. Non-negotiable bc why would I want one room dif than entire house. Negotiated to reinstall dif carpet for entire house, but WILL NOT pay for installation again. Upon arriving at storefront, confronted with the rudest customer service from Anna. I understand this situation was cutting in to her commission, but just my opinion honestly questioned her work ethics and morals. Not going to get into details. After a heated conversation left to return another day to meet with manager or boss. Another day, met with manager Alan. Much better experience. Forewarned all carpet had disclaimer. After going through ordeal, better for both sides to cut ties before further escalation. Compromise-finish installation with existing carpet without paying remaining balance. Initial installer came back solo without his posse of his wife, son and 2 elders. Installer's supervisor came and delegated before leaving. End results, confrontation from the installer AND let the photos speak for themselves.

When i stopped by the showroom, I was mostly left alone to look at carpet samples (which i preferred because their selection is HUGE). I selected one that they didn't have in stock so I had to wait 2 weeks for installation which was fine. The installers were great and it's been almost a year and I haven't had any issues with the carpet or installation. In terms of pricing, they're very comparable to Home Depot so if I had to do it again, I'd go with them again for the larger selection.
