California Holistics has a nice, clean location with a great selection of products, which is why I've continued coming back. However, there are some customer service and training issues that really impacted my experience. I've visited about five times, and I spent over $100 on each visit. Not once did anyone mention that there was a loyalty rewards program where customers can earn points. It wasn't until my most recent visit that an employee, D , asked if I was signed up. When I told him no, he signed me up, but it was frustrating to realize I had missed out on rewards from all of my previous purchases because no one had ever informed me the program existed. Unfortunately, my interactions with D Ward haven't been the best either. He was actually the first employee who ever checked me out, and the experience took so long that I was given a complimentary blunt because of the wait. Since then, every interaction with him has felt very dry, and unwelcoming. Idk maybe he was high.Good customer service goes a long way, especially for returning customers. read more

Another good find on a South Bay Dispensary. You can never have enough good dispensaries to go to & luckily for me Chula Vista hit gold with another one. The main thing that caught my eye here was the customer service, wow, the best I've had at any dispensary I've been too even the ghetto ones that basically have strippers trying to sell you weed as they flirt with you & smell like shame. Here it is very professional & the 3 times I went I was taken care of by Alex & Anthony. The knowledge these 2 guys have of everything in the store was amazing! Felt like I was talking to a doctor when I asked about things I needed for certain situations, they had a good explanation & answer for all my questions & great advice. Alex patience with me & my questions was great & he was very friendly & attentive. They have good selections in not only Flower, Tinctures & Edibles but also in lotions, creams, oils for aches & arthritis & that's why I mainly come here & will continue to come here. So come & get a jar for your Nana & help her out with that arthritis & maybe she'll make you some menudo after you smoke one of their great joints from here. Also they they have a Chili's Restaurant next door, perfect combo! I went in because I heard a lot of good things but when I tell you I went in and they didn't really know anything... The Budtenders even told me they didn't know anything. I've been in the industry for about two years and I knew what brands I like and which top shelf is good and which is mid. I went in asked for herb and edibles and the girl was tryna sell me on some bunk stuff. At the end of it she was tryna sell me $140 for half oz & 1x edibles and I couldn't do it. Idk if it was the taxes or the pricing on the herb. Went to march and ash down the street and got half oz (premium flower), 2x edibles & 2x presidential moon rock pre rolls all for $97.... Came here 5/24 around 6:30 for a pickup order and my friend wanted to come in it was her first time so she bought some stuff and was getting helped by one of the two girls that was working was super helpful. On my end I mentioned to the other worker that I was there for a pickup and proceeded to tell her my name so I can pick up the order and she ignored me... this is the first time I experienced that at this location didn't get her name but she looked Asian. So disappointed I felt awkward because I know she heard me I was standing right in front of her and she decided to ignore me looking at the register. Very uncomfortable and unwelcoming. My friend mentioned she heard me ask for my order and she noticed she ignored me too. She seems annoyed to be there. read more

Ed. What a gem they have with Ed. I can't sing his praises enough. He was so kind, gracious, and most importantly, informational. He gave us a lot of context and background for all strains and dispensaries we were interested in buying. He also listened when we talked about what we liked and didn't like and offered phenomenal choices for us to choose from. He then went over and beyond and just offered us quality advice on what pieces to buy even though he wouldn't profit from the sale because their company didn't sell it. He just genuinely wanted us to enjoy the cannabis we bought, and I greatly appreciate him. Not only was the customer service phenomenal but the weed was pretty dang amazing as well.
