He exceeded what we wanted and kept going over the top each day. We called every landscaper and turf specialist from Ventura to Los Angeles and DROUGHT TURF IS THE BEST - HANDS DOWN!!! They also came in about 30%+ less expensive than everyone else! This is what he did for us: 1) 2500 sq feet of turf (on a 45+ degree hillside plus replaced old turf by sidewalk) - not easy work and they did it with ease! 2) Three railroad tie walls around our olive trees (amazing!) - 24" (bigger than the regular 15 gallon) 3) Relocated/transplanted 1 olive tree and added a third one 4) Ran all new plumbing (drip system) 5) 12x wax privets (natural privacy wall over time) - 15 gallon 6) ** I don't know what they are called but we called them "fox tail" plants - 7 of them. 7) 25 huge boulders (to decorate the hillside) 8) Ran all the electrical for low voltage landscape lighting with 6 total lights. 9) Raised the railroad tie wall by the side walk from 2 to 3 ties tall 10) Removed all old trees, bushes, stumps and cleaned everything up!! I was referred from another company who was booked. When I first called I believe I spoke with the…read moreowner who was actually very nice. He gave me an estimate to remove a tree stump at $300. The quote was to remove the stump 6 inches below grade. He showed up with a stump grinder same day, and worked for about a hour, after which another guy came int he afternoon for another hour or so. When he was done, he told me he didn't clean up the shavings because it would be helpful for the retaining wall project I had going. I trusted him and believed him. Turns out, when my team went to build my retaining wall the following week, the shavings that were there, were just covering up the fact that the stump was still there above grade in some places. I tried to contact the owner of Arborist Crew for 2 days with no response to my calls or texts. I was forced to pay my gardener to come on a Sunday and re-do the job. I let the owner of Arborist Crew know I had to pay someone else to do the job and waited a month to see if he would make it right before posting this. OVERALL - sounds like they are great with big jobs making big money... but I wouldn't recommend if you have something smaller they are squeezing in AT ALL.
