I was a walk in on Saturday August 22. Jasmine seated me right away for 30 minutes of foot massage. Sheri was my therapist. She started with a few minutes of shoulder and neck massage then she did wonderful foot and leg massage. 30 minutes was too short! Next time I'll do a 60 minute. Wow! I just had the best massage of my life! It kept getting better and better as the 75mins went on. The massage therapist paid close attention to my problem areas, kept circling back to keep working them, but never overdid it. She had such detailed and unique movements that really left me feeling loose, relaxed, and 2 inches taller . My wife and I go to the Spa regularly, it's our favorite and we have tried many in SD and Coronado. I only get the deep tissue massage for 90 minutes, and if they have time, I sometimes extend to 120 minutes. I have tight knots in my neck and shoulders and they get completely worked. I have chronic tension and pain in my neck, shoulders, and sometimes in my lower back and they are GREAT at targeting exactly where I specifically need every time. I also have some sports injuries and need special accommodations and every staff is extremely professional and an expert on how to handle accommodations. It was horrible. Went to get a couples massage. They didn't ask anything about what we wanted before they started. Kept trying to upsell us during the massage. The lady's phone kept going on, she stopped to check it and for 4 min (I counted) she left my leg and butt cheek exposed while she did it. Then she hurt my neck and I told her I was done, she kept going. The head massage was brutal, nothing nice or relaxing about it. Would never recommend unless you want a cheap painful experience. Anything but spa feel. Then I was asked to leave a tip when I should've gotten a refund. read more

While we were staying at Hotel del Coronado we decided to do a massage. We left a message with no response. This prompted me to look in the area. With not a whole lot of reviews I was a little nervous about not having much feedback and just going to some place in town. It turned out to be one of the best places to go. The ladies were very nice and the massage was amazing. it was different than what i have experienced in the past with massages. They were very through and worked on lots of sore areas. The massage included hot stones and foot scrub as well. Decide to go to Coronado, make sure you get a massage from this spa. They are conveniently located, very good and very relaxing. I would not hesitate to use them again and if i lived in town I would use them regularly hands down as they are good and reasonably priced too. Check them out! read more

I forgot to write an update about my situation, and wasn't really sure if I wanted to because I felt bad. But it's been over two years since I went and my skin healed but it's never been the same. It has some scaly bumps under my eyebrows that aren't noticeable, but that skin used to be smooth and normal before I went here and got it ripped off... DO NOT EVER BRING YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY TO THIS ESTABLISHMENT!!! After I wrote my review, the manager called me. I thought maybe she was going to apologize and refund me for the incident like a good business owner would do. Instead, she told me that I need to remove my review because it was bad for her business and then continued to tell me that the only way she'll give me a refund is if I removed the negative review completely. She said I could do that or change it to a positive one.... A few minutes of arguing and back and forth made me realized she wasn't going to budge on this. I told her that if this is how she treats customers than people need to know about it and the review is staying. She wasn't very happy about that, but she got to keep my money. My only hope is that from my review she lost customers and that money that she didn't make off of them makes up for me never getting a refund. Moral of the story, they don't know how customer service works and avoid this place. read more

My massage from May was the best of my life. As a massage therapist I am aware of how a practitioner is working and how in tune they are with the tissue and how well they know the structure of the body. May addressed an issue with my lower back and glutes that has been bothering me for years. She gave me mobility in my SI joint that had been stuck. She listened to my feedback and adjusted pressure according to my tenderness. She checked in to make sure I was comfortable. My 2 hour massage included hot stones and warm towels to clean the oil. It was an amazing two hours that left me feeling safe and soft in my body. I'm so grateful. I wish I lived closer and could get work from her on a regular basis. 2nd attempt at massage this spa. Two fails. First time I waited 20 minutes for the clerk to tell me there wasn't a reservation made (even though I could see my name in spiral notebook, crossed out). I arrived 10 minutes prior to appointment but she never took my name or information. There were two men who had just walked in without appts and they were taken immediately. Second time. Arrival at 9:52 for 10:00. Clerk told me "you too early you must sit and wait" (very abrupt and corse delivery). Ok - never been told I was too early when arriving 8-10 minutes before massage but I'll go with it. No other clients visible. And their posted hours start at 9:30. I used the bathroom - in meantime I hear man walk in without appt and ask for massage-she takes him right into room. 10:10 another lady and her kid show up. After 2-3 mins she comes back to front desk and tells me 10-15 mins. No thanks. I tell her to cancel. I'm guessing they don't know how to manage customers or time with walk ins. read more

I have so many great things to say about this spa! My boyfriend and I were looking for a good massage and this place took our appointment 2 hours in advance for a couples massage. It is very clean and quiet. There was plenty of street parking and the manager/owner was friendly and welcoming. We went into the room and it was perfect temperature and comfortable. The massage was GREAT. They did deep tissue and worked out all of the tight muscles and knots in my back over and over again, and didn't seem to get tired at all. Yesterday I took my grandma and sister out for a massage, due to a very stress filled week. I called the other location on the island, but to our disappointment they were all booked. Thankfully this location had availabilities! We all got delightful, very enjoyable massages (we booked the Swedish massage for 1 hour each). Walking into this location, the decorations were very well put with beautiful plants. The bathrooms were also extremely clean! Our masseuses were very sweet and excellent at their jobs! They played calming music and had lambent lights in the room as well, setting the scene for a wonderful, relaxing time. At the end the very enjoyable,kind woman Jasmine, who works there, had some snacks (candy / banana chips) and water to treat us to! First off, let me say that the facility is quite nice. They have complimentary chocolates, cold water, and the place is very clean. I booked a facial for my last day of vacation as I wanted to end on a positive note. Unfortunately, I got my hopes up to be underwhelmed. I do get facials regularly. Usually about every 8 weeks. I know what a good facial is, and unfortunately, this one just didn't cut it. I read this on the website: Exfoliation with steam, and deep pore cleansing with concentration on what your skin needs. Everything from clogged pores to dehydration. Massage of face, neck, shoulders and hands. Mask is selected for your particular skin type and condition. What I received: Esthetician washed my face thoroughly and started using her array of products. When she put a mask on my face, she used a different one for my neck and shoulder area, but did NOT use steam. So, that definitely was a bummer. I love steam! She then proceeded to exit the room, disrupting the peacefulness that is supposed to come with a spa experience. I thought, "Okay she forgot something. It happens. I'll just let it go." Then she left the room again, and again, and again. A total of 5 times. I then heard ringtones and laughter coming from what I assume are the other coworkers just outside the door. This further disrupted my peaceful facial... Then she moved the light onto my face, but barely covered my eyes. Even though my eyes were closed, the bright light was hurting my eyes. She moved it away, but then back to my face about 3 more times during the facial. For what reason, I'm not sure. In my experience, the only time the light is used is when the esthetician is doing extractions, which... these ones were super lackluster. Extractions are my favorite part of a facial. I have PCOS and tend to have a lot of jawline acne and breakouts. I also get many blackheads so I really do enjoy extractions. When they began, it felt like she was just playing with my skin, barely doing anything. I know what it takes to get blackheads out, and she basically did nothing. She showed me one... and then proceeded to extract 5 more. I have WAYYY more than 5 blackheads on my nose alone. Which she didn't even touch. The other thing was a weird hand "treatment." She basically put my hands in saran wrap and then put them in some kind of warm mitten. When she took my hands out, they felt the same, honestly. I didn't feel any more softness or even any product on my hands at all. The "shoulder massage" was lackluster as well. She touched them, yes, but barely made an effort to work out any knots. I didn't get any sort of face massage, so I'm not sure what that would have consisted of. She did use multiple products and applied a sunscreen at the end of the treatment. Overall, I was disappointed. I couldn't relax, there was no steam, and the effort seemed lackluster. $65 wasted as far as I'm concerned. read more

This place was the best! The atmosphere is perfect for a spa with dim mood lighting and calming music. It was also super clean! Everyone who worked there was super sweet. I was with a girl named Jasmine and she was the best!!! The Swedish full body massage was so good and they even used hot rocks! Not only was she a great masseuse but the sweetest woman ever! She made sure she wasn't massaging too hard and whether or not I was cold as well as if the rocks were too hot. Seriously she was so cute and kind and even hugged me at the end. They drove us from the orchid location to the calla lily day spa where we actually had our massages then drove us back to our hotel. Walked by, as it's situated right by the gym I go to, looked at reviews and decided to check the place - turned out to be a good one. I had a 60min massage with a male therapist and he did a wonderful job, one of the best massages I've ever had. They complimented me with a hot stone massage at the end and a discount of 10$, which was also very nice.
