The prepared breakfast food section was nearly empty, so I approached the cashier to ask about an item, but she was on her personal phone at the register. I mentioned that several items I wanted were missing, and she simply shrugged without saying a word. When I asked how to order certain food items, she shrugged again and stayed silent. Frustrated, I said aloud, "If this is the customer service here, I'm not buying anything." I repeated it a couple of times, set down everything I'd planned to purchase--including a cup of coffee I had just made--and walked out. I took a photo of the store's exterior to note the address for follow-up. I then went to a nearby competitor, where I received excellent service, thanked them for the experience, and shared my disappointment with Circle K. Visiting South Carolina, this was an unpleasant surprise. After seeing many negative reviews for this location, it's clear there's a serious issue. I'll be adding my own review. At Circle K locations in my area, the staff know how to treat customers well and never make them feel unwelcome.
