Original agreement was 90$ a month now to reinstate because of "whatever reason" it's 390$ Now she's saying 220$ Sounds extremely fishy. The math and service does not make any sense. Beware!!!....I had an existing policy and needed to add a new car that was to be purchased within 2 days (a Carvana requirement). The new car purchase fell through and within less than 24 hours, I attempted to cancel the new car added to the policy. Calle's instituted a $300 NON-REFUNDABLE broker cancellation fee for the few mintues it took them to add the vehicle. In disgust, I ended up cancelling the entire policy and will never deal with them again. An expensive mistake so I am warning others so that they do not incur the same inflated costs and deal with a broker firm that utilzes these egregious tactics to add to their bottom line. P.S. I was looking for insurance after coming back from studying abroad and a gentleman named Ron helped me out and he was completely rude. He had no patience with me at all either, I would ask him a question and he would give me sarcastic answers. When Ron and I were going through some options for my insurance and he said I'd be paying the first and last month little did I know that "the last month" of insurance I payed was actually a broker fee. As soon as I found that out I cancelled my insurance and every time I asked to speak to someone else or a manager I would get the run around, they always said the same thing when I would ask to speak to someone hirer up: "We'll call you back when a manager is available." My insurance just cancelled for not summiting paperwork I did not receive. I was told the agent helping me was fired because he was stealing so he never sent me forms to fill out. They are also saying I never summited pictures of my vehicle and I have email I send them. Anyways now I have no insurance active, I have lost almost $400. They never received but they sure kept withdrawing from my account since I was on auto withdrawn. Two agents hung up on me. I had over 7 different I was transferred too, and over 4 hours total of being on hold and being transferred. I will never make business with them. I also got another policy and apparently the agent said he can't find me because the policy in my cards is to a different male, and number on card is disconnected. I found their number on google and phone only rings and hangs up after few calls. I found them 12/2016 and paid for 6 months. The only reason they won my business is because, supposedly, my payment was to drop almost $90 (for another 6 months) if I renewed in June 2017. It dropped only $9. When I asked them why, they just offered to look for another insurance provider. I wish I would've read the previous reviews but was running out of time. Do not and I repeat do NOT do business with this company. They are shady and tried to take my money AND tried to mess with my driving privileges. More to follow: I was looking for insurance back in June and was eager to get it finished with as soon as possible. I inquired about a policy and stupidly gave them my CC info before looking their company up. They charged me for the policy before even sending me their contract. BEFORE EVEN SENDING IT TO ME. I called them and told them I wasn't interested anymore (after looking some reviews up and seeing that they looked like a company I didn't want to do business with). They told me I would have to sign their contract and THEN sign the cancellation form. Why would I sign a contract for a company I didn't want to do business with? That's when I decided to take matters up with my bank and stop payments from this company. Luckily my bank resolved that issue and I got my money back, but I know other people might not have been as lucky as me. They continued to try and harass me and scare me, sending me messages that "I would lose my ability to drive without insurance". Lol ok.... I had already got insurance from another company so I knew that was BS. I knew they were just trying to scare me so I'd pay them the money they think they were owed. Lol. No thank you. But then, yesterday I get a notice in the mail about my license being suspended because of a "cancel in my sr-22" (I am a high risk driver that needs an at-22). I called my current insurance company and they said my sr-22 has been filed with no cancellation ever happening, which I knew to be a fact. So I'm not sure how it all worked, but it seems like Calles reported to the dmv FALSE INFORMATION about my insurance in order to get something out of it. This company is shady and money hungry. DO. I went to pay my payment and it says "insurance cancelled can not be reinstated" I even have a email from the managers named Juana that my due date was the 15th. I called so many times to confirm and everyone of them told me not to worry about it. I get a letter saying my insurance was cancelled because my payment was due on the 1st of March! What!? I had some major issues when signing a new policy with this company. When I called in to try and get answers and the issues resolved, I was shuffled around to multiple people. Finally and thankfully, I got a phone call from Karine who fixed and updated everything to my satisfaction. Because of Karine, I have decided to keep my policy with them on a trial basis but definitely want to share the warning signs to hopefully keep others from experiencing what I did. They will tell you a price that sounds amazing and have a way of presenting it, that they have all obviously been trained to do, that makes it look much less than reality. The amount of my policy was double what I was quoted on the phone. They will keep repeating the amount of your monthly payments and your remaining policy but do everything they can to avoid giving you the actual total of your policy. I had to ask 4 times, repeatedly. They do not disclose upfront that they charge a broker fee of $219 and instead, make it seem as though it's part of the policy payments. You have to be very specific about the type and amount of coverage you want, even though they are supposed to be the experts. My original policy had nowhere near the coverage I requested and I'm sure they did this to make the price more desirable. If you do inquire about insurance with this company, be sure to request Karine! She is by far the most knowledgeable, honest and trustworthy of the 4 people I dealt with. I added a star to my original review because of Karine, who was so helpful and resolved all of my issues. She went above and beyond to make up for the unprofessional actions of the others, Corina and Juana and Kimberly. read more

I had to pay a late fee because no one would answer the phone for me to change card info. 3. If I could give 0 stars I would. First off to try to make it short I had auto pay once I signed up. I did not know they were a 3rd party for other insurance carriers which was fine with me until recently when I signed up I always get auto pay. One month they didn't take my payment out and said they don't contact anyone by phone only by mail. I had the same card I use for my bills. Anyhoo they canceled my insurance which was through Infinity and put me in Collections! even when I tried to reach out and reinstate my policy and pay. They told me oh we put you with Stonewood Insurance??? For what? I was willing to pay whatever I owed even tho they had the correct card with Funds on it!? So now I'm with Stonewood. So I'm like okay fuck it I'll keep it. We need insurance but this is how these insurance people get over on you! I will go to Farmers and a better insurance company ASAP! I'm so so disgusted with the service. Manipulating and misleading. I was quoted $40 over the phone, when I arrive at the location I was told $75 but if I said I was married they can lower it to $50. So the broker asked me for a utility bill or a statement with my girlfriend to fake I was married to get a lower insirance rate. I thought that was complete sketchy so I told him I would do that and come back later with the info but before I left he made sure to ask me for my bank account and routing number. I hadn't agreed on anything, why would he need my account information? I decided to stay with my insurance, I wanted to call the broker and tell him thank you but his co-worker answered and I asked to leave a message. When I mentioned I wasn't going to go with Calles, he stopped me and said he can me in at $29 a month, and asked if I made a down payment with my current insurance and I tried to explain that I didn't because I have been with them he said that I didn't have a policy and I was uninsured and that I needed to come in asap. I hung up on him, because the tried to make me afraid or something that if I was pulled over or in an accident I wasn't going to be covered. The next morning they called again, and when I was trying to explain to the original broker the situation he pretended like the line was breaking up and he couldn't hear me and hung up. Joshua was extremely helpful the first day I called (3 times to ask questions), and the following day Sebastian answered every doubt I had, and I went in and signed everything with him. I was trying to find insurance for a car as I was at the dealer and didn't have insurance at that time. I filled out an online form to get quotes got a call from this company back which I regret answering they gave me a quote. Which I took and because I was in a rush trying to finalizing all my paperwork with the dealer I signed the Docusign they sent me. Never did the rep explain to me that they charge a BROKER FEE!! Okay I called back a couple of days later to add my husband to my insurance and they quoted me a ridiculous amount my premium went for $1k to $4k but the representative couldn't tell me why put me on hold. So I decided to shop around found a great insurance that could bundle my home insurance and car and with great coverages. I called to cancel my insurance as I was only with them 8/3-8/16 when I called today to ask about my reimbursement they tell me I am only getting $52 from the $357 dollars I initially paid them. I was so confused. The girl on the line that states she was the manager doesn't even know how to talk to clients. This company is just going to steal your money and especially take advantage of people who are in a rush and don't have time to read every listed on the documents until it's to late. Yes I feel cheated and robbed for having insurance for less than 15 days. Having paid over $300 and only being reimbursed $50 dollars.
