I wanted to learn something new and found this class on yelp. Such an amazing class! You definitely get your money worth. Karen was so welcoming and an amazing Calligraphy teacher! The Calligraphy starts off with grabbing some delicious snacks, mimosas, coffee, tea and an introduction to Calligraphy. Karen takes the time with each person to ensure they are on track. I learned the alphabet, numbers and how to address envelopes in 3 hours! She tells you your strengths and weaknesses so you can practice at home. You leave the class very confident in your work. I am seriously hooked! I've always wanted to learn Calligraphy and now I know how! I already signed up to take more of her writing classes! I can't wait! Highly recommend Karen!

Karen is an absolute delight to work with. She is high energy with lots of creative ideas. She addressed our invitations and created and did our escort cards. She also did our cocktail napkins. Super easy to work with and a quick turnaround time. We received tons of compliments on her work. It really does take your wedding to that next level of detail. She worked with our budget and would use her again.

My husband found Karen on Yelp and gifted me a calligraphy class for Christmas. She was so booked up, he had to sign me up for a class in February. I was so excited, I had my best friend sign up too. Karen provides a lot of one on one attention because she keeps her class small. We learned so much and by the end of the class we all felt so much more confident and had improved. I'm not going to lie it was frustrating at first but in the end I was super happy. She had snacks and drinks available. I loved her energy and her expertise. We are going back for another class in a few months. If you are looking for a calligraphy class, please go to Karen you won't be disappointed! Thanks Karen!

    Art Masterclass

What a creative way to spend the afternoon!…read more I was part of a Turkish mosaic lamp class hosted at Art Masterclass. First off - it's definitely harder to make them than it seems. lol If you have option paralysis or get overwhelmed easily, prepare yourself! Look at alllllll the colors in my photos available to use and maybe plan ahead. They provide templates of different floral, geometric, and banded designs that you can use, but you can go off-script if your noggin comes up with an idea! They give you a decent amount of time to create a design, glue said design in place, and then fill the rest of your lamp's empty space in with the tiny glass beads. There are a few final steps you can't complete while in "class" but that's due to the glue needing time to sit. You're not left in the dark however, as they show you a how-to video which is included in your take-home kit via a QR code. =) I noticed this place has other classes that seem like fun (terrarium and some sort of small dish painting?). I may need to return. Notes: - You interact with glue so you'll likely get messy. - There's a restroom to wash your hands, or if nature calls. - In the small bead fill-in time frame, everyone drops them. It's human. It became part of the experience. Aim for your tray!

The instruction from this studio has truly helped me improve both my artistic skills and eye for design along with helping me find and build my voice as an artist. He makes his studio a welcoming space for everyone and cultivates an environment where you can be your weird, creative self. No matter what crazy artistic vision you have in your head Russ will dive in head first to support and guide you through the artist's process. Whether you already have a large art project in mind or you are simply seeking a fun space to create alongside other artists I highly recommend taking classes at Fine Art Studio for all ages and any medium you might be interested in pursuing further.

Since you have chosen to publicly distort the situation, I will clarify the facts. First, my child is four years old--a preschooler--attending a class that was marketed as creative and supportive. Instead, your rigid, one-size-fits-all approach left no room for individual learning styles or self-expression. The lack of patience and understanding was evident from the start. Second, the way you describe my child's actions is exaggerated and unfair. Saying "no" is a normal response for a young child in a new environment. Spilling water--whether accidental or not--is also normal for this age group. As for the sharpie cap incident, rather than offering guidance or redirection, your immediate response was removal and exclusion. That's not teaching--it's intolerance. Most troubling is your complete lack of awareness or inclusivity for neurodiverse children. The fact that you frame basic preschooler behaviors as "behavioral issues" and immediately resort to expulsion rather than understanding speaks volumes. You've made it clear that children who don't fit your narrow mold aren't welcome. Rather than addressing the real issue--your rigid, exclusionary practices--you've chosen to defend discrimination under the guise of "student safety." The only thing unsafe here is an environment where a young child is treated like a problem instead of a learner. Parents deserve to know the truth: Fibo is NOT a welcoming place for all children. If you expect kids to be robotic and silent, just say so--don't pretend to offer a creative and nurturing experience. Shame on you for doubling down instead of doing better.

There's no rushing to a finished product...you have to work through each step, learn from mistakes, and sometimes figure out how to solve a problem when things don't go as planned. It has been so rewarding to watch her challenge herself, develop new skills, and become more confident in her ability to work through frustration and find solutions.
