There were interactions that felt dismissive and, at times, like our concerns were not being acknowledged. A pattern developed in leadership dynamics that made it hard for us to feel genuinely heard or respected. What was especially painful was that my wife was never truly given the opportunity to share her perspective. She invested an incredible amount of time and effort helping hold things together during a period when the church was without a pastor. To see that work undone so quickly was both discouraging and disheartening. Because of these experiences, our trust has been broken in a way that we do not feel can be repaired. For that reason, we cannot return. This was not a decision we made lightly, but it reflects our honest experience and the impact it has had on us.

Families have left because they don't live out their tag line"Live & Love like Jesus." They have lied about people. Hurtfully removed faithful leaders. You have to comply with the edicts of the Chairman of the board, head pastor without question. The newest member of the pastoral staff has been placed to be their henchman. When the 3 Ms resign, I'll remove this. Under their leadership this church went from a vibrant 1,700 weekly attendance to an anemic 300. They will not be transparent with the budget or what operational cost are for Learning Planet. They say programs like ReEngage are being run at Trend House- nope. This is not a healthy church in this current season.
