    Food trucks/vendors area

Joy is helping to shop small and that's what I'm here for is their Christmas Food & Craft Fair. Calvary Chapel Honolulu is quite an incredible complex though what it offers the parking here is quite small so small in fact that the Craft Fair was held on Sunday and of course with service we all had to park outside, thank goodness I came early since I wasn't familiar with the area. Besides the Chapel there's a coffee shop, school in the back and behind that is an enormous field where there was the food trucks and vendors and right beside that is the school gym holding all the craft vendors one in particular I wanted to was "You Made This For Me" one of many skilled cookie artist who was teasing her collection that she was bringing to the event. What seemed to be the one that everyone else wanted was obvious as they all dashed to the table and grabbed everything literally was just insane...sold out in minutes I was glad to have gotten anything if ever lol! Besides that I was able to pick up some cute Christmas ornaments right besides her and the best tea from Dragon Tea Girls who's teas are made fresh for each event in amazing labeled Mason Jar which mine says "I am Enough" cool!! Being at a very hill part of Aiea was quite a challenge for me to walk but getting that needed exercise was exhausting haha!! Shop small makes a huge difference! Thank you!

The spirit of God and Aloha is strong here with a Devine link to community. The gym allows for great sports like wrestling to thrive. The environment of love, discipline, faith and commitment to sportsmanship sets a tone that allows wrestlers, coaches, parents and officials to come together with a competitive and cooperative focus on bringing out the BEST in individual and team competition! Mahalo to Calvary Chapel for their house of blessings!

Ask the Community - Calvary Chapel Honolulu

Is this an lgbtq friendly church? Thanks

No way; just the opposite. Their website states "...we hold homosexuality, and all other 'sexual preferences' or 'orientations' as unnatural, sinful, and unacceptable to God"

Does anyone know of a place that does regular Bible Studies near Pacific Palisades?

There is one in Waimalu with our Assoc. Pastor Clif Birchfield... you may call the church office for details at 524-0844.

Does anyone know of a place that does regular Bible Studies?

Bible Study Fellowship. They have separate classes for men and woman. You can go to bsfinternational.org for more info.

Each holiday, they're sharing with the community. Easter, July, Halloween goodies. When I got the invite via event bright, I wanted to attend. When my husband and I pulled up. We. Priced that 1st Assembly of God is a huge church. Gave me the mega church vibe. As we walked up the long steps stairway, the landscape was beautiful. There were members waiting to greet us as we arrived. As we entered, there was plenty of seating. I was able to fine seats in the second row with a great view. The Christmas story was about the birth of Jesus told through song, dance while connecting to various cultures. The concert was well done, very powerful meaning. I was impressed in the entire performance.

I can always hear all the activities going on, especially during this holiday season! I was so excited to find out that they had a Christmas light display going on every night from 630-830pm all they way til Christmas! My son is only 9 months old, and the way the weather has been so crazy lately, I was super sceptical about going to the Honolulu City Lights with him. This made it so easy and convenient for a family with a young child. It wasn't too busy where we couldn't get pictures taken, and I was thankful to have a fun and safe environment to take him to experience these things for his first Christmas. There was also a choo choo train that he was able to ride, and one of the attendants were so helpful in keeping him sitting upright the entire time (he kept sliding because of his pants)so he was able to enjoy the ride! Although I do have my own amazing home church, I wouldn't mind stopping in for a service every now and then because this one seems really great too!

Quite some time ago, Sandals had a guest pastor visiting from Hawaii. Pastor Wayne shared a message that coincided with his book, Divine Mentor, and I remember leaving that day feeling incredibly blessed. Then, during a trip to Hawaii in 2022, I wanted to attend New Hope Church in Oahu. I drove all the way there... and then drove right past it because I was too scared to walk in alone. This year, I've been praying for courage. I've been asking God to help me do the things that stretch me, the things I don't always feel confident enough to do. Today, I finally walked through the doors of New Hope. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with so much kindness. They placed a shell lei around my neck, took the time to talk with me, and made me feel like I belonged. I couldn't help but tear up. It reminded me so much of what Sandals felt like 15 years ago, the warmth, the authenticity, the love, and the joy of being surrounded by people who genuinely reflect the heart of Jesus. God showed up in a mighty way. The first song alone was confirmation He knows me and my fears and blesses my willingness to walk through them and in these doors. I'm so thankful I didn't let fear win this time. God continues to show me that courage isn't about having no fear, it's about trusting Him enough to take the next step anyway. So much to be grateful for. Giving thanks to Him for it all. The good and the not so good. I know He has a plan. #gratitude #faith #courage #newhopeoahu

They were my first stop the day after I moved to Hawaii on a whim. What I truly needed from a church at that time was community and relationships, and Wellspring offered that completely. As a bonus, they did potluck Sunday every other week and the food was delicious. ;) One of the things I appreciated most about this church was the women in leadership roles. There was a pastoral team of 3 women and one male head pastor when I started attending - as of now, I believe the head pastor is a woman and there are 2 other women on the team as well as the head pastor's husband. The messages are bible-centric and the church frequently works to help improve their neighborhood. During the start of COVID, they offered produce boxes and eggs for free on a weekly basis to anybody who needed assistance with food. They currently offer livestream services along with in-person services depending on your needs during the pandemic. If you're looking for a new home church in Oahu, I would highly recommend Wellspring. They are a smaller church where everybody knows each other and cares deeply for each other.
