It was a wonderful and memorable Christian experience. Today's worship brought back a host of childhood memories as a result of the service being led by the Youth members of FBC who are being encouraged as our next generation of Worship leaders. My home Church back on the East coast promoted this same practice that was my Christian experience once a month, during my upbringing. This practice more importantly honors and follows Biblical teaching re: Proverbs 22:6 "Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old, he will Not depart from it." As a result of my own mother who raised her children in a Bible teaching Church that involved the Youth, we had seeds of spiritual guidance planted in us that we have not departed from. FBC is truly on the right path with Training, Teaching and Guiding our future Worship leaders and community service disciples, to go out equipped, with their God given Gifts, to serve others and pleasing God. I left today's service uplifted and Thankful that I had the pleasure of meeting two members the day before who invited me. The entire congregations hospitality was a Gift my son and I received with great Joy and we look forward to returning. Pastor Croom, thank you for answering to Gods call on your life. The Sisters that taught us were the Sisters of Reparation and they and the parishioners there were some of the most Godly people I have ever met. I have such fond wistfull memories of my time there at the church and school. O really love the fact that they are still intact there doing the lords work. That church and school is a holy place of God that is worth visiting . I can't wait to see those wonderful Sisters and Pastors that showed me Christ's love again in heaven someday . Peace Be With You.
