While I totally understand the reasoning behind it, but absolutely not the time or place to do that. It completely rubbed me the wrong way, as that's exactly what they do at Protestant megachurches. During Mass, and especially during a homily, how inappropriate. This made me realize this church has become a Catholic megachurch that's becoming more business-like and running in a corporate manner. Thats not what Mass is about. We are there to worship. While already running way past an hour, they then spent the last 5-10 mins of Mass with a guest speaker who came to talk about donations and money AGAIN. This could've been posted in the bulletin, mailed, emailed, or other forms of communication - NOT during Mass. again, super inappropriate and extremely disappointing that this is what St. Clare has turned into it

I…read morerecently moved to the area and went to several churches in the area which simply did not sit right with me in word or atmosphere. I went to a coffee shop at the Fountains working while I sat outside. My attention was peaked when I overheard two woman nearby speaking about thier faith and I resonated with what they were saying so much that I had to ask them what church they went to as I was currently looking for a new home church. They happily invited me to sit down with them and get to know them briefly as they told me about their church. Then I tried their church at Bayside Adventure. I didn't tell them I was going as I didn't want special expectedness. I went wanting to see the real people involved at Bayside & I was genuinely, tentatively impressed with such a warm, compassionate filled presence. I love that I'm not attending a rock concert in the dark! I love that the pastoral team actively encourages you week to week to follow along in your own Bible, not just expecting you to passively listen to them. I will say, you receive what you put out, if you want to get connected- connections are easily made. If you want to keep to yourself, no intrusion is put upon you. Ive been attending, skipped a couple weeks and each time returning to happy faces that genuinely seem happy to see me and continue to be welcoming. I highly recommend this church, the children's ministry is a huge part of this church too, welcoming families, singles, empty nesters, seniors, men, and women. I would easily say there's something for everyone.

That did not happen: Bayside leaders messed up big time - they did not say a prayer for Charlie Kirk's family or at least have a moment of silence to honor his memory - I left sad and heartbroken... My friends said even Catholic Churches recognized Charlie. Bayside worship leader and pastor did nothing to honor a great Christian who was martyred - I watched the memorial service on YouTube and was so touched... I haven't been to church for awhile, so the visit was truly disappointing- from worship being a performance (overly loud music, lights and video on side screens focused on drummer, etc), this was clearly not about Jesus. Too many inconsistencies in pastor's message, from saying there's true evil in this world and then saying that it's also in all of our hearts: speak for yourself dude... Pastor even joked that he was giving a Ted talk - yeah, it felt like rehearsed speech that he's getting paid for, I didn't trust his words like I believed Charlie Kirk; being a young man trying to find God - I was quite disappointed, didn't feel like this church cares about me.. At one point the pastor said that we're all selfish and our circle of friends are people who like us: does he want us to surround ourselves with people who hate us? Besides few welcoming faces at the entrance- no one came up to chat or cared enough to pray for me. I won't be back and can't recommend this church. I'm sure some churches actually practice what they preach- but not bayside leaders - they are woke liberals, as I'm sure many members are here... From 2005-2020, I served/volunteered and donated a lot of time and $$ to Bayside - no pastor ever recognized my service and donations(even Ray Johnston or Kurt Harlow whom I met) and I came to realize that this liberal mega-church business model is focused on raising $$, not care about people - it's truly a disappointing and heartbreaking experience. This is my updated review. Bridgeway is my favorite Christian church. Three services are…read moreconducted on Sunday and one on Saturday. Sunday services times are at 8 am, 9:15 am and 11 am. The Saturday services time is at 5 pm. Worship time is amazing especially when Dylan sings; his voice is beautiful . All the pastors are great; pastor Rodney, Lance, Brian and Heather and Judah all give wonderful sermons. The other pastors too give and deliver amazing messages. Easter service is my favorite; quick tip; come To Easter service early because the place fills up super fast. The members of this church are all so happy; it's easy to feel their energy and enthusiasm. Bridgeway also offers a variety of classes, conducts baptisms and has fun events too like Trick or Trunk night for Halloween. Come to this church; you won't regret it, you'll love it!!

This is a liturgical church, so it might take awhile to get used to. But a lot of the liturgy is SUNG by the congregation - and these people SING! Really awesome! 3. They have a small, but very good choir. 4. Short, but excellent and meaningful sermon by the pastor. 5. The church has Sunday School for the kids, and VBS during the summer. 6. The coffee hour was warm and friendly. People tend to sit at the round tables, but several people made the effort to stop by our table to chat with us - including the pastor! 7. Yes, they have a rainbow flag banner out front, but there was no other political messaging that I noticed either time I attended (we were in Auburn for a few weeks).

They are obviously very serious about honoring the Lord, following His word, and serving others. They were planning the meal and indoor shelter for the homeless this week and promised details of the recent trip to Paradise where some of them were helping to rebuild houses. A bonus is that there are several small groups which can help newcomers connect with others. If you're on the fence, just go and visit. Don't miss out on this sweet congregation.

I called them recently asking for a ride to church and back, but they want to hold my past against me from almost 20 years ago even though God forgave me along time ago, and all temptation and sins are common to man. I feel discriminated against, they treat strangers better than me. What did I ever do to them. The Bible says that if you don't forgive and forget a person's past God won't forgive and forget your past.

Their youth pastor has done an amazing job of pouring into their kids while navigating 2020. We love being apart of a community and a church that loves their neighbors so well, and lives like Jesus did. Sermons and worship are wonderful too!!!
