Room 2 was such a special part of Akila's daycare journey. Both teachers created a warm, nurturing environment that helped her grow in confidence, independence, and curiosity. It was clear every day how much they genuinely cared for the children. Ms. Marcela formed an especially special bond with Akila. Even when I was holding her, Akila would often reach for Ms. Marcela, which speaks volumes about the love, trust, and comfort she felt in her care. In our home, we lovingly refer to Ms. Marcela as "Abuelita" because of the nurturing and grandmotherly presence she has been in Akila's life. Ms. Hind was equally wonderful, and together they made Room 2 feel like a second home. Their kindness, patience, and dedication have left a lasting impression on our family. While we are excited to see Akila continue to thrive in Room 3, we will always be grateful for the foundation Ms. Marcela and Ms. Hind helped build during such an important stage of her development. The program has declined since the director position has changed over the past couple of years…read more They do NOT accommodate children with disabilities or special needs and the director was quite discriminatory to us in our meeting, giving us numerous reasons why our visually impaired child would not be able to conform to their "rigorous" pre-k 4 program that only caters to sighted children. We were given petty excuse after petty excuse as we quickly learned they were not flexible at all and would not be willing to try and accommodate our child. We will be withdrawing our other two children from here (we had been an enrolled family for the previous 5 years). Many other families have voiced concerns over the change in leadership and I am also VERY disappointed.

The teach kids good manners, independent eating, cleaning up, songs, literacy and art. We also love the food there, probably the healthiest and most balanced menu out there. Our son has a food allergy, which was a big concern of ours when selecting his school. Primrose administrative staff promised to openly communicate with us from day 1 (Thank you Miss Woodson and Miss Montgomery), and consistently worked to ease our fears. The teachers always worked to make our son feel included in activities around food despite his allergy. Miss Singleton was integral in this, ensuring all staff were educated on what was okay and not okay for our son. In addition to these great experiences, what also sets this school apart is the teachers. We credit our child's speedy potty training to the school (Miss Clark), thank you! Our son loved all his teachers and genuinely looked forward to seeing them each day. He developed special bonds with each of his teachers, and we'd like to personally thank each of them for making him feel loved and safe each day. Thank you Miss Poorman, Miss Sowers, Miss Shoppe, Miss Warren, Miss Calderon, Miss Neal, Miss Clark, Miss D, and each of the teachers and staff who work hard to get to know our son despite not directly being his teacher. Because the only regret we had is not sending our son here sooner…read more --- --- --- We first moved to the area in 2021 and had been sending our son to a Kiddie Academy in Tampa prior to our move. So it was only natural for us to consider sending our son here, but this was a much newer/nicer facility than our old KA, so we ended up opting to send him to a different, cheaper daycare. Unfortunately, this ended up being a classic "you get what you pay for" situation, and we ended up sending him to several different facilities over the next few years. Once he started first grade, we ended up sending him here for after school daycare and he really enjoyed it. It was a significant upgrade from the YMCA-led aftercare that took place in his school's gym. Significant is not strong enough a word: night and day would be a better way to describe it. Things were so structured and calm at KA, compared to the YMCA where it kind of seemed like a free-for-all. And then over the course of the summer between first and second grade, he came here full time and he absolutely loved it. There was not a single day that he complained about going to summer school. He actually complained about NOT being able to go when we were on vacation, which is something I would have never imagined happening in 1,000 years. On his last day, he was close to tears because he was going to miss everyone so much. He loved the teachers, the kids and all of the fun that they had here. There were 1-2 field trips during summer school and they were the highlight of his week. Again, our only wish is that we would have just sent him here from day 1 and not messed around with the other options. The teachers and administrators are all great - we'll miss them too!

I emailed the owner at 3am with my concerns of what I was going through and at the earliest availability I truly needed help. Luckily, someone moved from the area and a spot became available!!!
