And we have not been disappointed! We continue to have truly great teachers, that you can actually interact with every day at drop off and pickup and build relationships with them. I highly encourage anyone who is interested to schedule a tour or go to one of the open houses. Not only is it a charming environment, you will be amazed at how much more they manage to cover than just the basics. There is a focus on fine arts and performances, which are so great for confidence building. But they also get into robotics, go on cool field trips, and seem to have more fun events and activities than you might get in public school. The summer camp sessions are great, too! We'll be very sad to move on after 4th grade!

There is a "nanny cam" in all the rooms that's viewable on campus, the teachers & staff do a great job of keeping constant attendance, check-ins and activity logs (sometimes photos) are shared with parents thru a special app, and there seem to be excellent protocols in place for the children's safety & well being. (The one thing I wish they had is video cameras accessible to parents off-site. That would put me even more at ease.) We really love how Ms. Heyley treats the kids in her classroom like her own. She has such a big heart for what she does, and it shows. She often gives us one-on-one progress updates, and she goes over & beyond just being a teacher. Our daughter has learned so much from being in Ms. Heyley's class - from improving social skills, life skills, fun lessons & crafts, to writing and vocabulary. WTH has been the ideal fit for us. All the teachers have at least a bachelors and many have a masters in teaching. Most have also been at WTH or teaching for many many years. When you step in WTH you can immediately tell that it's a real school environment-- they even have a library and lunch room. In a short period of time, my four year old is advancing really quickly. With in just a few weeks he's already holding a pencil correctly and writing his name (both things he didn't do at prior preschools). This was my two year old's first experience at preschool. I was a little nervous because he's never been cared for outside of our home. With in just a week he would detach with no problem and walk away with a "bye mommy." He's also becoming really independent through their encouragement. He'll bring his own things into school and put them away. It's also worth noting that the director is almost always present and is fully immersed in the activities at the school. I see her all the time from drop off to pick up. They pulled out so much gunk out of the pipes! I forget the name of the plumber that came out, but I appreciate his dedication towards ensuring we didn't need to have them come out again. He snaked the pipes almost all the way to the outside of the house, clearing out what was assuredly years of gross build up! We'll totally use them again if we have any other plumbing problems. At the top of the stairs, a woman who I believe is named Brittany Y. began following closely behind them on the staircase, which felt unnecessary and made an already difficult situation more stressful. Once downstairs, I handed a cash tip directly to the gentleman. At that point, Brittany took the money from his hand and immediately asked me if I had more to give. When I said "excuse me," she responded, "Not trying to be tacky, but can you give him more money?" I declined. Instead of leaving it there, she remained outside harassing me while my husband and I secured the mirror and continued to ask us for more money. During this time, she told me that "this is her business, and the employee only makes $15 an hour and she doesn't have insurance for them to move things". This was uncomfortable and inappropriate. Discussing an employee's wages and internal policies with a customer-- and especially asking for more money--is highly unprofessional. I did apologize just to end the interaction, but the situation should never have escalated this way. I was willing to tip for help, but being pressured repeatedly and having the money taken from the employee was unacceptable. While I appreciate the help from the gentleman, this experience left a very negative impression. If employees are not supposed to assist with moving items, Brittany could have said something before they started down the stairs.

Disappointing Experience - Frequent Teacher Turnover & Lack of Attention I've had a disappointing experience with this daycare. One of the biggest concerns is the constant switching of teachers - it feels like every time I drop by, there's a new face. This inconsistency seems to impact the kids, as I often see children crying when I walk into the room. Unfortunately, the teachers appear very young and inexperienced, struggling to manage the kids or offer proper comfort. It's concerning to see children left upset and without much attention. I understand that kids cry occasionally, but it's been a pattern every time I visit, which makes me question the level of care provided. A daycare should provide a nurturing and consistent environment, and sadly, this one is falling short. I hope the management takes steps to address these issues and provide more stability and experienced caregivers. read more

But there were times that every two weeks there were different teachers in the room. One lasted 1 day because the state came and did a background check on the employees and for some reason this new girl was released that day! The last straw was when he was moved up with his friends to the next classroom. I was nervous about this change because he finally had 2 teachers that lasted a month! But I was promised (by the director) the teacher had been there for a long time and was great. So we were hopeful. So in the new class room we were not there long at all, when an accident happened and...it is now 6 months from when it happened and he still has a scar. The kids were playing outside and when they lined up to go in, they said he ran off, tripped and his face went into the iron fence and his teeth through his lip and into a board as he landed face down on the ground. If you know my child (who is not perfect but very shy) this is not his nature! I asked the lead teacher what happened and she flippantly says she doesn't know....HE was covered in blood and she does not know! I was in shock, grabbed my child and left! The next day I go to see the director who was not there when this happened and she tells me that the lead teacher didn't show up to work and quit...that screams something is wrong! She then calls in the other teacher (another new hire) what happened and the above story is what I got. She said she was busy with another student but saw it happen. I ask her what she is going to do to ensure my childs safety (as he has also been bitten in the new class just the day before....deep bite through a sweater and his skin was broken on his back) and again, I am given the speech to give them more time.....NO I was done! I was calm, over and over again as he was bitten (skin broken) because new teachers were not keeping kids engaged. I believe when we left, the number of times he was bitten was 8 and he didn't bite back. The teacher told me they had a kid who loved to bite, but there was not a bite policy in place other than they would talk to the parents. And the teacher in the classroom told me that child was a problem as he bit 3 kids on the last day we were there. The several times I did drop ins, they were not following curriculum! I know I should like a helicopter mom, but when your child keeps getting injured.... you start to take notice quickly! And this is how I found out about a teacher putting soap in a child mouth.....but the director/owner can spin a story to place blame on everyone but them. I moved my child to another school (United Methodist in Montgomery) after this and at 6 months now with the new school....no injuries! He has had the same teachers the entire time and he has learned so much.....verses Primrose where he was not because they were constantly training new teachers. I regret that I allowed my child to stay there as long as I did!
