This time I got out of my comfort zone "Jerk Chicken" and excitedly tried "Jerk Pork" for the first time, which was backed up by a high reputation among trusted foodies. My order was Jerk Pork Poutine only but it was a hit! The pork had all the qualities of good roasted pork - Crispiness outside, chunkiness, juiciness & tenderness inside full of jerk flavor!!!!! The outside crispiness keeps the juice and flavor of the meat. The fries, gravy, and cheese were there to complement the meat. I am glad that I tried this today. In the past at other places, I have had many poutines that had meat items on top of poutines, but they are usually using stringy dry overcooked meat in place of gravy. But Jus Jerk Stop's poutine let the meat play the leading role of the show. I appreciated this! I wanted to try Oxtail (recommended in the radio show) but it is available only on Thursday and Friday. Must come back for this. The size of the poutine was smaller than I expected ($14.15 before tip). But I looked for quality over quantity, so I was very happy. Nice to have this place in my area.

Just to be honest, I am not very familiar with Carribian food. But I was so impressed by their food! Ordered - Boneless Lamb with Roti - Jerk Chicken Roti - Doubles Lamb and Chicken rotis' meats are both juicy and tender, folded tightly in flat bread that has multiple layers separated with well seasoned, roasted, and ground yellow split peas. Juicyness of the meat, crunchiness of the peas, and soft, light, chewy and moist (not soggy) bread - all enjoyable. They have plenty of juicy meats and sauce inside. Great seasoning and the size was huge also! I wished I ordered doubles in the restaurant - I think that this street food menu is best eaten immediately to enjoy the best texture of curried chickpea and fresh vegetables. It was mild and sweet. I want to add extra peppers as a side. I will definitely come back!
