Both times i got there and the door was locked with no explanation on the front door. Plus, the hours were on the front door stating that they should have been open. The third time, they were open. I came in and bought some pre-workout. I opened it the next day to find it was unsealed and all of the preworkout powder was hard as a rock. Plus, the scooper (which usually is buried) was sitting on the top as if someone opened it up and took a scoop before it was sold. Now i dont blame the vitamin shoppe for this one because the preworkout had plastic shrink wrap on the outside, so it probably happened before vitamin shoppe got it, but overall bad vibes. i returned it and while i was going to grab a replacement, i decided to look up the preworkout on amazon. It was $35 on amazon as opposed to the $45 vitamin shoppe price and same day delivery... so i wont go to vitamin shoppe again. Plus highland ave is a pain in the arse.

I know that's a requirement of many health clinics, but his is clearly a 'new' business (open less than a year) and it shows in many ways. When I got there he then told me his staff let him know that my healthcare provider wasn't accepted by his practice...when I called my Tufts Managed Care provider they said he was. He mentioned something about Medicare only pays him $29/visit. He would much rather people just pay him in cash. I don't even know if that's legal for him to refuse me service for that reason. I provided him with screenshots from the Tufts website proving that he was in fact on my plan and he still balked - then said he would have to check with his staff again to make sure. How insulting and unprofessional. He never even had the courtesy to get back to me. Anyway, though he's a little full of himself, he seems to know what he's doing. The office is clean and pleasant with a room for exercises and one with the chiropractic table for sessions. I had a friend who saw him and was pretty pleased. But he was able to pay upfront.
