I asked if they had space bars which he reluctantly pointed to and immediately pushed for me to purchase. I asked if it was mint and if the vape was green colored and he said yes, but it was obviously clear?? after i asked him about other vapes he SCOFFED IN MY FACE and my friends and i were so off put that we left. he then went right back to his call. i'll never shop here again. to the employee, if you hate working there so much then quit. you're just making city smoke's already weird reputation even worse. xoxo

I asked him for the flavors we wanted, and he explained that the boxes we were referring to were "back stock" and we could only buy them if we purchased the case, since no one buys more than the small boxes at a time. Uh-huh. I tried to figure out what that cost would be and he explained that, since we had "helped ourselves to choosing flavors and [he] got distracted, [he] wasn't able to explain how it worked." We had a very disappointing and concerning experience with Citi Smokeshop (Newbury St.)…read more In late July, we left four vaporizer device samples at the store to test a potential collaboration. The understanding was clear: the devices were for customer trials, we would receive feedback, and if there was no response from the market, we could retrieve our devices. Months later, we received no feedback whatsoever, and the store refused to return the devices. We were told that devices left in the store are "assumed to be non-returnable," which was never communicated at the beginning. We called the store at least ten times and were repeatedly told we would hear back "soon." We also visited the store three times in person. A staff member named Sean gave inconsistent and unclear answers every time. Depending on the visit or call, he claimed the devices were in the store, in a New Hampshire warehouse, or already with customers. When we asked to get the devices back, there was always a new excuse. When we asked about customer feedback, there was no real information at all. We are no longer concerned about recovering the devices themselves. What is far more troubling is the lack of honesty and basic business ethics. If this is how the shop handles partnerships, it is hard to trust any product recommendations made to customers. Posting this so other brands and customers are aware and can proceed with caution.
