5 stars for customer service, 3 stars for selection. I say this because the seemingly small store does not carry sizes for petite women. But other than that, we hope for this brand to grow globally and give VS some fierce competition! read more

My GF and I (shopping for the GF) have been coming to this particular Heroines boutique for several…read moreyears and it never disappoints. The designer is local and so are the fabrics. We were told that all the clothing is made in France and England. I have no reason to suspect otherwise. Assuming this is true then Heroines is a bargain! Perhaps it is my Bronx skepticism kicking-in. The manager/salesperson was outstanding but I can't remember her name. I don't want to say how much we spent, but let's just say we greatly surpassed the US incoming custom's exemption. I guess we'll just need to donate the excess prior to re-entering the homeland...

Dresses, shoes and coats inspired by 1950's vintage style with a modern edge, gorgeous construction and design. Nina helped choose some things that were wonderfully complementary to my body shape stating "it's not about size, but shape". As I'm a few sizes larger in France then the US, this was very helpful to hear. She was a great sales person, spoke beautiful English and was a lot of fun. I adore the jacket I bought and am actually looking forward to colder weather so I can wear it and let the complements roll in.

Le Bon Marché feels less like a conventional department store than a monument to the distinctly…read moreParisian art of choosing well. The iron-and-glass atrium is beautiful, the scale feels wonderfully manageable, and the selection of fashion, design, and home brands carries a point of view that could only come from Paris. Harrods occasionally comes to mind as a comparison, although the resemblance ends quickly: Le Bon Marché is quieter, smaller, and far more Left Bank in its sensibility. Upstairs and throughout the store, browsing is genuinely fun, and I still remember visiting when there was a Williamsburg, Brooklyn-themed activation that offered an unexpectedly charming French interpretation of the neighborhood and its culture. La Grande Épicerie, however, may be the masterpiece: an astonishing food hall where the presentation, abundance, and sheer discernment make grocery shopping feel almost museum-worthy. At a moment when e-commerce has hollowed out so many great department stores, Le Bon Marché feels increasingly special, proof that physical retail can still justify the trip simply through taste, atmosphere, and discovery. It is absolutely worth visiting while wandering Saint-Germain and the 7th. Très bien!

It was the most pleasant and calm shopping experience I've had in a very long time. If you're looking for the most top notch shopping look no further, you'll find the most special items here.

I regretted buying a pair of jeans that were too large and when I took them back to exchange Allison was super rude about how I could only select an item from the new collection - unfortunately almost the entire boutique had been put on sale that day, so I only had a few pieces to choose from. I was ready to spend much more than the original price of the jeans, but after the aggressive service, I left with an exact exchange and a bad taste in my mouth. Not sure I'll be going back.

The pink and gold store is really cool and the staff was very nice too, uber trendy but playing their role very professionnally too. And, believe it or not, when I called again after the confinemnt, my dress, which bore my name and was put behind the counter in a room, was GONE. I asked for the clerk to look for it.
