They contacted us promptly after the Request For Quote went out to all contractors in the area, and showed sincere enthusiasm for the work, even though our project was very small (it was to come out to Alabaster to fix a front porch light fixture, which had been ripped off my elderly mother's house by 'porch thieves' who had targeted her). They came out to my mother's home, were respectful of her property and her privacy, inspected the work to be done, gave me a prompt estimate of the costs (and were willing to discuss the cost with me on the phone as well). Then, they went out the next day and completed the work, and billed me exactly what had been quoted. The work was professionally done with solid competence regarding electrical issues. His work was meticulous, and he demonstrated great care in completing the job. Patrick is also an excellent communicator and is extremely dependable--he arrived each day at the scheduled time and was quick to let us know if traffic or other circumstances would delay him. He works in an efficient manner but never in a rushed way. Each day when he left, Patrick took the time to clean and straighten up the work area. I give a one star for how poorly the latest job we hired them for remains unfinished, and no word…read moreback from the company for TWO MONTHS despite having a conversation about the issue after sending pictures of the poor quality and unfinished work. We have used Sanchez Construction a few times before and they did excellent jobs with our in-home renovations, so I don't understand why they completely dropped the ball with this one. We will never be using this company again for how they handled our last job. The fence we wanted put in is great, except that it is UNFINISHED! And, they used ROTTEN WOOD to complete the last section of the fence. The pillars alongside one of the gates were never cut, so we just have two large wooden beams sticking up a foot or more taller than the rest of the fence, which doesn't match the finished gate on the other side of the yard. There was a seven foot section of the fence that remained incomplete for days, and when called to ask, they had no idea about it and thought the job was done! So when the guys came back to finally finish the job, they used, not the fresh, new wood we had bought for the purpose of the fence, but OLD, ROTTEN, TERMITE-HOLE RIDDEN wood from a nasty, decades old pool deck we tore down ourselves about a month prior. So now our brand new fence has one section that is made from rotten planks that has termite holes covering the surface. Also, that section is BACKWARDS compared to the rest of the fence.
