First of all, they charge for the fee to come out even if you pay to fix the issue. That is a very odd practice in the business as the fee to come out is almost always waived if the actual repair is performed. At the end of the day, still ended up paying them and getting nothing in return. This leads into the most ridiculous issue. They didn't quote the price or ask if the repair should be performed before actually performing it. This was absolutely negligent. They literally did the diagnostics, then went ahead with the fix without ever quoting the price or asking the customer. It's hard to imagine how one would run a business like this. When questioning the owner about it, his response to his staff was, "charge for the visit and get the heck out of there." Then there is more basic, rudimentary professional etiquette like asking to use the bathroom before actually doing so when working in somebody's home. This was the second experience with Harris AC and the last one. While the team is perhaps capable of repairing and diagnosing the issues at hand (first time I used them, it worked out repair wise), the basic approach to dealing with customers is nonexistent.
