I have been calling Camco for a week to report the middle fountain in the outdoor pond has stopped working. There has never been any daytime person answering my call and the messages report that I cannot leave a voicemail as "voicemail has not yet been activated" OR the line is too busy - please call back later! I agree that my reason for calling is a minor cosmetic issue BUT what if this were a real emergency? How can a management company of three large adjoining complexes stay MIA? I am an owner at Villas of Honey Creek and Camco Management is the most unprofessional management company that I have ever worked with. Their bookkeeping is off and the management of finances is extremely unethical as they overcharge and we have no idea where all the funds are going. They do not even hold meetings as required by the constitution and bylaws. read more

This management company is a family run pyramid scheme... they are rude, unresponsive and dont have any fiduciary sense when it comes to owners funds...and bookkeeping is horrible/. They have huge expenses and payments to family run services which TOTALLY UNDERPERFORM IN THE CARRIAGE HILLS CONDOMINIUMS.. They waste money , charge excessive fees for their work and mismanage most of the services they should be handling....wd cant even get a recent bookkeeping statement on our account, and everything you ask for they have their lowly lawyer write up and bill the condo owner.......They are unscrupulous at best and SHOULD HAVE BEEN FIRED LONG AGO.... read more

Most owners are long time residents and have no idea of how terrible this firm is and how much money is wasted by their terrible practices and heavy overcharges...The board needs to be replaced and held accountable!! read more

All interactions with this company are the worst I have had with any management company. It is always seems as if you are bothering them when you call, even though they are the service provider. We purchased a condominium, Georgetown Homeowner's Association, October 26, 2016, managed by Camco Management. We received check registers monthly until April 2017. In August 2017, a homeowner's meeting was called in which many residents expressed concern and suspicion about Camco Management as they were in breach of contract, not providing monthly financials of the complex including, check registers, actual monthly profit & loss statements, and a list of delinquent association dues by unit. It was reported by Bryan Ealy, Board President, that Camco refused repetitively to respond to multiple requests via certified mail as well as email for the financials. 2.2 & 2.4 of the Management Agreement state that the Board is to receive financials on a monthly basis as well as a summary of annual receipts and expenses within 30 days after the end of the fiscal year. Camco sent out a 2018 budget to all homeowners that was not approved by the board. After no response from Camco for financials, past dues and vendor contracts, an emergency meeting was called and Bryan appointed 3 other board members, one being me as Vice President. Based off Camco's lack of response to provide the information requested by the board since 2017 and required per the Management contract, the Board hired new management and sent Camco a 60-day notice of termination on March 11, 2018. Meanwhile, we had sold our condo, closing on March 23rd. Our Title Company sent Camco the request to complete the closing questionnaire the week of March 12th, 2018. They finally emailed on March 21st stating that they were no longer management as of March 15th, 2018 and that Legacy Landscaping would be placing a lien on the property. Later in the day, they emailed and said they were mistaken and they actually are managing Georgetown until May 11th and would complete the questionnaire immediately upon receiving the buyer's information. After repeated follow-up, they returned the questionnaire at 5:19pm on March 22nd, 2018 and on the questionnaire stated that Legacy Landscaping would be placing a $71k lien on the Association. I spoke to Scott at Legacy and asked why he would continue doing work if the alleged debt was so high and his response was 'I'm a nice guy and I do all the work for Camco'. During the little over a year that we owned the condo, Camco has never informed any homeowners or Bryan Ealy of this $71k lien. The first time any of us heard about it was during this closing, March 21st, 2018 from our Title Company. When Legacy Landscaping was asked who signed the contract, they said Brian Cameron from Camco, however, the contract Bryan Ealy, Board President, was given, shows no signature. When this was brought to Scott's attention, he told Bryan Ealy, I will have Brian/Camco sign it. If this is the case and no one from Georgetown has approved or signed a contract with Legacy Landscape, then they are in breach of Section 2.9 of our management agreement, ''agent shall not make any expenditures nor incur any nonrecurring contractual obligation exceeding $250.00 without the prior consent of the Board.' Our management contract states that vendor contracts are supposed to be agreed and approved by the Board and SUPERVISED by Camco (section 6.2 of Management Agreement). Nowhere in the 2018 budget that Camco emailed to everyone, is this lien reflected. When I asked Bryan Ealy, Board President, had he seen or approved the budget, he said no. Camco has repetitively made decisions for Georgetown without the Association's knowledge. Additionally, when we bought the property a little over a year ago, Camco made no mention of outstanding balances on our closing questionnaire and clearly $71k in landscaping charges accumulates over some time. I believe Camco's behavior and the suggestion of a lien is retaliation for being terminated. Repetitively since last year, Georgetown homeowners have pleaded with Camco for actual financials and these attempts are documented. Camco has clearly been in breach of contract in critical areas for some time but ethically, this cannot be acceptable. When a management company is hired, specific performance is expected. I am a Realtor and I have been dealing with 2 properties that I lease, and manage for the owners, in Forest Pointe, New Berlin. My dealings are with Camco Management. I have dealt with several other management companies, but I have never dealt with a company this bad. I would have to write several pages to explain how rude, incompetent, and unresponsive Katie and Brian have been with me, on 3 separate leasing transactions. Besides that, I feel terrible for my homeowners, who are suffering the same, or worse, treatment, and don't necessarily realize that all management companies are not like this. I am not just complaining on Yelp, but contacting other condo owners in this complex, to make sure more people know what's going on, and realize something has to be done. I'd like to add to the same sentiment already here. I have owned the same property for about 8 years, never missed a payment. I made a mistake when the condo fee amount changed, and set the start date 12 months later. I went a few months without paying, an accident which was certainly my fault, but instead of contacting me they sent a lawyer whose only response to by inquiries was, "asking me more questions will cost you extra money". In the end i paid about 25% more than the amount due, because of fees. I also had to call 3-4 times before I was able to figure out who to send money to and where, along with confirming the time period I missed matched my records. It felt a little ridiculous considering the entire time all i was doing was offering to pay the amount due in full, that day. My past dealings with them have been no better, they don't return calls, don't properly update their records, and are downright abysmal to work with. However, their receptionist is super polite and clearly tries to be helpful. read more

Horrible customer service. I just left my third message for someone to call me back and the girl taking the message hung up on me. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. She said no one was in the office because of the holiday. I find it hard to believe the entire office is closed - no on there - until after the first of the year. If I could give this company no stars I would, they are truly the rudest company I have ever dealt with in my 22 years as a Realtor. I will admit that I try very hard to be communicative and I try to be nice when I call this company but...it doesn't last long before they completely send me over the edge. Pray that you do not need to work with this company! They failed to remove snow from the roof of the condo and, when there was interior damage, refused to pay for the repairs. This happened despite the fact that their own maintenance man said it was the condo association's fault! When we tried to sell the condo, their needless delays and endless red tape actually cost us one buyer and almost cost us a second until the closing attorney stepped in. And don't even get me started about Virginia! She was extraordinarily rude and disrespectful. Unprofessional, they call you and you call them back and they act like they have no idea what they are talking about. Find every little reason to tow your car and not tell you that they towed it and think you're going to pay to get it out. Some times it feels like they just do not want young black people living on their property. Oh and don't let me get started on how they never call you back and you have to hound them just to get information. I am a fairly new owner of a condo in the Delavan Pointe community. Last night my fire alarm went off for no reason. Fifteen hours later I am writing this review as I continue to have my brain assaulted by this horrendous sound. I have contacted the condo management company. No response other than a message saying that if my call is not an emergency I would be charged a $75 fee as a penalty for calling. Police and fire departments cannot help. read more

ABSOLUTELY horrible service and lack of professional communication skills. If the other reviews don't already warn what you're getting into, I don't know what else will. I am just glad I didn't buy the property. The way they communicate is more a threat of consequences than anything else. You will receive letters of threats.... if you don't do this, then we will FINE you. It's all about how they can fine and for how much. I received a letter once and it didn't even apply to my unit. I called them to let them know they had the wrong person and unit and had unnecessarily alarmed my landlord. No apologies. Just an "Ok" and then a dial tone. What a bunch of jerks, and that is only ONE example. Don't buy property from them. read more

Where to start? This company was hired by the owner of the condo complex after he took over from the original developer. There has not been nor still isn't an association of condo owners who have a voice in this decision. Camco has been totally irresponsible in its management of the complex yet Mr. Cameron railroaded an increase in monthly dues more than a year ago telling the owners that the dues were never enough to build a reserve for capital expenses. Our largest expense is snow removal followed by landscaping repair of damage made by the snow removal. The same company handles both! I bought my condo in 2008 and was due for my "11-month warranty" check in 2009. Fourteen months later, in 2010, a man showed up at my door without calling first to do the check as I was leaving in my car. He insisted on reviewing my list of repairs and within minutes told me that these were all construction flaws or the result of sloppy workmanship. His conclusion was that the owner would not authorize correcting any of the problems. The worst was a flaw in the concrete outside the front door that collects water every time it rains and when snow melts. (There is no way of getting to the door except through the large puddle or stepping on the ice in the winter.) When I called Camco to complain about this man's attitude and answers, I was told that because I would not let him do any work at my unit, he would not be returning. The excuse was that he lived too far away to come back another time. My complaint to the owner of the complex was met with indifference and he said that Camco was doing the job they were hired to do. (And, the concrete sidewalk would definitely NOT be replaced.) read more

I agree wholeheartedly with the other reviews. The disrespect starts with David and trickles down to the people that work for him. They think that they can talk to you any kind of way. Ray ann is very disrespectful and NEEDS to learn what GOOD customer service is. She NEEDS to go to a school that teaches GOOD customer service skills. All they care about is getting your MONEY. She doesn't want you calling every so often to find out how much your balance is. These people need to be PUT out of business, they sure don't know how to run it properly. This is the worst management company that I know of. I'll be HAPPY when I pay off my loan or sell the place. I've had more than enough of them. No more condos for me. You're just giving your MONEY away to vulcers. The condo fee continues to go up almost every year, but the property continues going down. What a shame. read more
