Staff was okay. I felt like I was a bother to the doctor. he didn't really seem to engage with what was going on or even like small talk..

I have been going to this place for over 5 years, and Dr Murphy is excellent. When he recommended surgery, they had a different doctor. Dr Tran. He said he would be back to remove stitches. Then a student came in and removed. (I don't have a problem with student). They rush you out of office. I was given the bums rush right out of this place. It has been over two weeks, and I still don't have disability forms filled out. Waited for doctor to finish with another patient. Then he went into another patient. I was scheduled first, but they didn't care. After I mentioned this. No one couldn't care less about it. I walked out and will not do business with this group again. read more

They did absolutely nothing. It was a waste of time and travel. Went in for a discolored toe that was extremely painful and Dr. Tran informed me that it would probably have to be cut off. He then said he wanted to refer me to another doctor. Where is his sensitivity training? Telling a patient something like that is cruel. Later that day I did a follow-up call and requested some pain medication. He informed me that he couldn't prescribe anything and to take aspirin. I told him I already tried that and it did nothing. He didn't care. So, I spent $226 for absolutely nothing. What a rip-off. No wonder there weren't any patients waiting there. Horrible experience. read more

Please research another place to go to find the care you need. I should have researched but I did not. Dr. Joesph unprofessionalism floored me. Spending maybe 10 minutes with me, asked me questions all while cutting me off. Left the door open and did not care to take the time to hear what I needed to say. He was not interested in caring for my needs, but rather go about his day. He didn't ask about my pain, where I was hurting, simply rushed me out the door. WORST PLACE EVER. I'd rather go to an animal vet . They are rude and it's a monopoly, only ortho in Camden. And they are total entitled jerks about it. Unless you're well off, they don't give a darn. They made me suffer years ago and treated me like trash, and today I tried to make an appointment because its the closest place and they were still just as rude. I already had the x rays for my broken hand, did they care NO! Trust me, they do not deserve your money . read more

If you think it's acceptable for your doctor to spend no more than 15 seconds in the exam room with you then Dr. Joseph is the one for you. He doesn't listen and he rushes around like he's on cocaine. If you can't spend 5 minutes listening to and addressing the concerns of your patient then you shouldn't be a doctor. read more

Pray that you NEVER have to be treated here! I am NOT a patient to ever complain, but no one should be treated as poorly as I was at this "medical" office. After (the second) doctor said I was "bone on bone" and needed an immediate knee replacement, I did everything they asked ASAP. They in turn were unprofessional, incompetent and blamed every other medical office for their own failure to take seriously my medical condition and address it in a prompt manner. Full disclosure: I was warned by many locals NOT to use Camden B&J as they have a horrible reputation, but i thought "how bad can they be"? Well, I found out the hard way and caused a delay in my wellness. Don't make my mistake. Even if you have to go to Columbia or Charlotte, you will be better off. This is the truth. read more

By far the worst experience I have ever had in a medical office. A matter of days before hip replacement surgery, I was informed that surgery had been cancelled. A question of who gets billed as primary between Blue Cross Blue Shield and Medicare was causing the problem. After 1 1/2 hours talking with all parties involved, Medicare offers a solution. But office manager won't approve her staff to process package as Medicare suggested because her office would get less money. Medicare suggested bill the entire package to them. Let them deny what part they would and let the remainder kick over to Blue Cross Blue Shield. Office manager said no, recommended that since I only have part A of Medicare that I should get part B or a new insurance company. No concern for patient, all about the MONEY! read more

Dr. Tran is knowledgeable. But their scheduling is sub-par. I've set up appointments that have turned out to be with the wrong doctor, without my knowledge of course. I drove 30 plus minutes to be told I'd have to come back on a different day just because they didn't give me the right doctor when scheduling my appointment. read more

Ok, make sure you bring a pocket full of money even if you have insurance with only a copay and no deductible. This place made me pay a $20 copay which I am absolutely fine with but then also wanted me to pay for my X-rays upfront which would have been hundreds of dollars even though I only have 5% on imaging on my policy that I am responsible for and the insurance covers the other 95%. Most places will bill you if you have to pay anything extra. Not here, they want it all up front regardless what your insurance says. I am not going to pay hundreds up front when my insurance covers 95% of the X-rays. I left without seeing a doctor and didn't even get my $20 copay back! So mad, they should explain all this over the phone when scheduling the appointment. read more

I wish I could give them a negative star. This was by FAR the WORST experience I've ever had with a doctor and I have encountered a few bad ones. The staff was rude, the nurse was rude, the x-ray tech was rude and Dr Joseph was Horrible. To say he has lack of bed side manner would be an understatement. When I arrived, the front desk person was slightly cordial, however when called back, the nurse was ABSOLUTELY, rude, when I asked her how she was, she didn't respond, I like to make small talk, because I'm southern, but she was not having any conversation. The entire exam was excruciating. Dr. Joseph came in, he cut me off, interrupted me, twisted my hurt leg like it was a rag doll, when I told him I was allergic to ibuprofen, he told me to take motrin or advil, well they both have ibuprofen in them, so he apparently didn't take me seriously or just plain out didn't listen, he was rude, condensending and just plain out HORRIBLE. The x-ray tech was even more rude than the nurse, when I asked how she was, she rudely said, follow me and kept barking orders in the most irritating voice. I guess when you work for an arrogant man like Dr. Joseph, you would have to hate your job. Needless to say, I have no answers, my leg is still hurting and I refuse to return for the MRI they scheduled me for. Get some compassion and empathy if your going to be in the medical field. They are lucky that I was in a good mood that day, or I would have told them something about bed side manners. read more

IMO, not a very good place to seek treatment. The staff, except one therapist, are rude, condescending people, if they speak to you at all. I've taken my wife there at least four times and the doctor has never said so much as "Hello" to me when he entered the room. No eye contact, nothing. When he put a cast on my wife he didn't place her heel in a neutral enough position which caused her further stiffness when the cast was removed and a splint was applied. Couldn't take the time to do it correctly before the cast had set. I didn't go to medical school but I do know to place a limb in the position you want BEFORE letting a cast or splint harden. I also know to speak to people upon entering a room. Camden bone and joint can kiss my a$$. read more

Too busy to stop and ask questions and get answers. Surgery on a family member was just middling. Went to another ortho in Columbia, they removed all the pins and screws and corrected with kevlar bands. They also want alot of money up front even if you have insurance. I initially went here based on positive reviews, but my family had a negative experience. I will not recommend them. read more
