    Crabs!

Excellent lobstering, lighthouse and naturalist excursion. For the price and experience it's a win. My kids liked it and the timing at just under 2 hours was perfect. The guide was a little bit a salty sailor but that added to the charm. We saw seals, osprey, eagles and lots of other wildlife. Afterwards We explored the town - don't miss the candy store! Excellent experience!

My family and I did the lobstering cruise. It was a smaller boat so the group felt more intimate. We got stuck in traffic on the way, we called to let them know, and they said no worries if we couldn't make it on time we could join the next group, very accommodating. We set off on a beautiful, blue sky day. We learned so much about the rules and regulations of lobstering but also got to see wonderful coastline, lots of animals and some really great looking boats. All of our questions were answered by the captain and co-captain. We were also able to get down and dirty throwing the lobster and crab caught overboard, in a safe manner, and rebaiting the traps. It was so nice that you had the option to be hands on or hands off. If we visit this area again with friends we would definitely do this excursion again. We had adults and kids (9&13) who all enjoyed themselves!

This was a very good 2 hour eco cruise. Really knowledgeable skipper and a chance to see a lobster pot be hauled along with a chance to see a good variety of marine life (osprey, eagles, guillemot, porpoises, harbor seals, schooling mackerel). Boat was well maintained but quite a lot of people on board (22) given the price ($50 per person) hence one star off. But still a great way to spend some time on the water, get a tour of the bay, and get an insight into how lobsters are caught and the ways that the industry is kept sustainable.

Had an amazing experience!! We did the one hour lobster and lighthouse tour. It was the perfect amount of time to be out on the water now that it's getting a little chilly and windy. We had a great time and learned all about catching lobsters, the local people, the harbor, camden and the surrounding area. Highly recommend!

We took the 1 hours Lobster and Lighthouse tour, and we had a blast!! It's for 1 very safe for my 1 year year old with life jackets on board for kids. This is such a great tour for families as well as adults who want to learn about lobstering and see the beautiful views of the Camden shores and harbor. There is only 1 lighthouse, but it's beautiful! The tour guides were incredibly knowledgeable and great storytellers. Great price for the tour. Would do again!

We had a great time with Camden Harbor Cruises! The lobsterman was very informative, the captain had some great stories about his past, it was a great time! Upon docking we did get soaked because of the storm that had just opened up while we were docking, but we still had a great time! Can't wait to go again soon!

Super fun boat ride! We leaned a lot about the natural habitat and wildlife in the area. Our guide was very was awesome and took the time to answer all my kids questions. They got to play with some lobsters and crab, and see plenty of seals. I highly recommend taking the Eco-Tour cruise it was worth every penny. They also have beer for sale on the boat which made it even better!

Our Captain and Burke were funny, informative, and made sure we had a great eco/wildlife experience. They got everyone involved, adults and kids alike. Hauled in lobsters, learned all about them, saw eagles, seals, and just had a great afternoon.

After camping and hiking in the area for a few days we decided to do this on our last morning before driving back to North Conway. We are so glad we did! Colin and the female Captain (sorry forgot name) were awesome! Pro tip, try to sit up front for close seats to all the action. Our 6 year old LOVED "helping" with setting bait, touching lobsters and starfish from their touch tank, etc. Our almost 3 year old just loved pointing out bouys. Colin was charismatic and gave a great presentation on the history of two lighthouses and was always happy to answer questions from the audience. A tour on a lobster boat is something everyone should do at least once in their life, and we are glad did it here!

I have been on many boat tours, and this one was so personal and fun! Locally owned or was personable and the stories were great!

There's something for everyone. What I'm reviewing is how a spot compares to similar outdoor spots in my personal opinion. Being in nature - and remembering to carry in, carry out - is always five stars! :) Parking? Yes. Loop trail? Kind of. Well marked signs? Not really. Element of surprise? No. For Cumberland County folks, Moose Point feels like a combination of Fort Williams Park and Mackworth Island. It's got grassy knolls to picnic on with views of Penobscot Bay, evergreen groves to meander through via wide and well maintained trails (some of which have benches, some of which have little staircases leading down to the pebbled water's edge), a gazebo for events, and during low tide there are tidal pools to explore (during high tide it's much more difficult to navigate because it's mostly just uneven rocks and not much of a shore). I think this is a beautiful spot in midcoast Maine, and I'm glad there are locations like it throughout the state. Personally, I don't necessarily feel the need to come back (except to get my Maine State Parks Passport Stamp!!!), just because we have something soooooooooooo similar so close. But I can see how it's a draw for so many!

There are many picnic table to enjoy lunch, a group pavilion, a playground & hiking trails to enjoy the ocean views. It would be well worth the $3/person fee in-season to enjoy this park. In particular, go in to the right ocean corner of the open area past the playground & there's a level easy walking path along the ocean out to a point with 270' water views. Give enough time to take pictures. We met the park ranger & had a lovely conversation about the local birds & the park's resident fox. Allot 1-2 hours, bring a picnic lunch & bring your camera.
