These guys are absolute class. I won't ever bring my pets anywhere else. I've had a lot of bad experiences with vets in the midlands; many will charge you out of house and home and beat around the bush when it comes to actually seeing you, running diagnostics, etc. I have never had an issue being seen during Camden Veterinary Hospital's walk-in hours and they have never charged me a price that I didn't think was fair. I brought my Chihuahua to them with what turned out to be a gastrointestinal infection. We didn't know what was going on with her, just that she stopped eating and couldn't stop having awful looking bowel movements, and we assumed the worst. Matt was confident with his diagnosis and treatment plan, and they kept her overnight to make sure her health was improving before returning home. When she left CVH, not only was she feeling so much better, but they bathed and brushed her out. They did not have to do that and did not charge me extra for it. It really is the little things that make these guys the best. You won't be disappointed. read more

I cannot recommend this place enough. Every single person that works at this vet clinic is amazing! They are kind and supportive. They take their time with each client and are compassionate. We have taken 3 of our pets to this clinic and one of them needed assistance crossing the rainbow bridge. It was so painful for us to let go of our fur baby, but they took the time and were so wonderful though the whole process. They gave us a chance to be there and they stayed with us as we mourned and says our goodbyes. This is truly the best place in town. They love their clients and every animal that goes through their office, it shows in every interaction. read more

I have been to almost all the vet clinics in our area and while they were all good I would not take my pets anywhere else. My chahuahua got away from me one day and the vet chased him down the rode and captured him. This same pup has had surgery on both legs (torn ACL) a year apart and the care could not be better. I had a terrible experience here today with Dr. Ronnie H. Fulmer. My dog has never been seen here before I was under the impression that my dog would be seen for a check up to learn her history and to get flea medication. He tried giving my dog vaccinations without telling me what they were or asking if or when she had them prior. He was not gentle or compassionate with my dog at all she was very scared and he did nothing for her. When asked if she had any problems and I said yes she has problems with her teeth he argued with me and was so rude and condescending. Without even looking in her mouth I was told they were her baby teeth, they are not she had them pulled. I was asked how I would know if her teeth were bothering her if she's still eating, like I don't know my own dog and wouldn't notice her being in pain. He asked what I wanted him to do about it since she has recessed teeth and he "can't make them grow or whatever you want". Then he told me maybe I should just get them cleaned and if they didn't get better he "guessed" he could pull them. No offer of an X-ray. He never even looked in her mouth! She's a chihuahua they are known for having poor teeth. I've never seen such an unhelpful rude vet in my life. His assistant was no more kind or helpful than he was they both acted like I was the problem somehow for being confused and concerned. I had to remind her of the flea medication after I paid for it and ask how to use it because I could tell she didn't want to help me she just wanted me to leave. If you're going to come here at all see Dr. Matt or don't waste your time and money. read more
