We were stuck near the Imperial Sand Dunes lookout and Camel Towing was a literally life saver! Nowhere near any place we could walk to, and in the 100 degree heat with a car we couldn't drive was awful and stressful. We called multiple towing companies nearby and none would or were able to help tow an electric car. We called Camel Towing and they immediately were willing to help and said they'd be there in an hour and 15 minutes. They came quite literally in that time window and Mando was so friendly and great and put us at ease. He took us back into town 40 minutes away to a charging station and told us a lot of interesting facts about the area and the sand dunes and made the process and enjoyable as it can be. Even made sure we could stop at a gas station to get water or snacks if we needed since we were stranded for the better part of a day. So thankful for these guys! If you have any trouble in the Sand Dunes area they are for sure one of the best options! read more

I was stranded in the middle of nowhere & Camel Tow came to the rescue. I was quite a bit of aways (about 45 minutes) no other towing company would come as fast to rescue me in the middle of dessert as fast as they did. Some towing companies wanted to make me wait until the morning because of how late it was. He got us back in the road in no time. I give em one star for the low price. But the service was terrible. The guy was rude & pissed off & rushing me throwing our tools in the car & barking at me. I had been sleeping & missed his calls cause my ringer got turned off. My man was in the bathroom but the guy refused to wait. I told him the totes on the roof wernt tied down right & he responded with a I dont give a shit if they fly off that wasnt his problem. I couldnt believe hes the "supervisor"? I was literally broken down in the desert about 20 miles out of El Centro and the owner of Camel Towing came and got me and my 7 year old son and brought us 130 miles into San Diego. He even stopped at a convenience store so we could stock up on food and water for the ride. Can't thank him enough and I highly recommend Camel Towing. Puppy friendly!!! I called for a flat repair & had been canceled by another company. Camel tow was prompt with an estimated time of arrival. So I was coming home from San Diego and my whole dashboard lite up, no idea what it was. My car turned off and was stuck in Ocotillo. The towing companies that my insurance covered told me I'd have to wait a few hours, it was in the middle of a hot day and I did not want to be stuck there by myself. It was a long way out but my driver, Richard arrived on time and did a professional job getting me delivered to El Centro for repairs. I would recommend this company with the crazy name. read more

We had a flat rear tire along I-8 23 miles east of El Centro on our Tesla X. Requested service last night for a friend that broke down crossing the international border, Camel Tow was dispatch to her and they took the time to help her get her car started and on her way back home. The worst tow service!! Waited about 2 hours for them to show up!! The receptionist was of no help either. Receptionist would say "they'll be there soon" and would hang up. They stated the driver would show up between 30-40 minutes. 2 hours later I'm still waiting. I'm requesting my insurance provider use a different tow service for future business. I was on my way back to Phoenix Arizona from San Diego and I made it to El Centro. My front passenger bearing blew out and got so hot it melted itself to the spindle. I called mobile mechanics and tow services and nobody wanted to help. After going to the dealer the following morning only to realize that the part that I needed was no longer made, I ended up calling Camel tow and he came right out And met me at my vehicle. The owner towed me back to his shop and him and his crew removed the spindle and Then he was able to track down the part in Mexico. He went to Mexico and he got my part came back and they installed it along with a new rotor and changed out my ball joints. He got me on the road and I was able to make it back to Phoenix. To top it all off the best part when I was about to pull into my driveway He sent me a text just to make sure that I had made it home. If I am ever in that area and in need of the spectacular service that they offer they will be the first ones I call. Kudos to him and his crew! They were all very friendly and eager to help!! Wow! These guys are the best when you really need the pros. If you're getting routine roadside service, the difference may or may not be noticed. But if you have a complex challenge... After getting my truck hopelessly stuck in sand, in the middle of nowhere, in the middle of the night, these guys were not only able to find me, but get me safely out without any damage to my vehicle. Camel Tow stuck me with a $250 tow bill. They showed up without the appropriate equipment to fix a flat tire on a fifth wheel trailer. My friends showed up with the proper tools (lug wrench, 3.5 ton jacks, and a compressor) My friends did most of the work changing the tire. Did not stop Camel Tow from charging me for services not rendered. Shameful!! read more
