We were so fortunate to have them both as our guides. These ladies were pros. So knowledgeable, so strong and so fun!!! They gave clear instructions and guided us through the waters with such professionalism. They would explain interesting facts about the Shoshone River as we floated along certain parts, also on the bus ride they would explain fun facts along the road. Lunch was provided back on the bus which Kya drove like a champ. Highly recommend for anyone looking to have a thrilling Colorado adventure!

Very good communication and guidance during the sign up process and good information provided prior to arrival. The river experience was excellent. Our guides (Anna and Kaitlyn) were informative and entertaining during our 45 minute ride to the drop in near Glenwood Canyon. Our family felt very safe in their hands and we had a lot of fun on this trip. Anna was a fantastic guide and boat captain. After the excitement of the rapids we spent about another 1.5 hours floating and sometimes swimming. Highly recommend for people who haven't done it before.

I would say it got down to 50 degrees at night, but they provide an extra comfy bed with tons of blankets! We were extremely comfortable! They had full bathrooms with the tent. So shower, working toilet, and sink with hot water! They had a cooler with ice ready for us upon arrival. The cooler had cold water bottles and coffee creamer. They also had lanterns fully charged for us. They had a coffee maker with sugars. The tent is situated on top of a deck off the ground. Can walk barefoot around the tent area. At night, you can see all thr stars and milkyway (as long as it is a clear night). They have a ton of activities to take advantage of! We went on the ATV tour in the morning, and it was absolutely worth it. Shout out to Above and Beyond Tour! Thank you to Greg for the fun tour and Craig! Highly recommend the ATV tour! Also, we did the horseback riding! Wonderful and friendly staff and horses! I had King Kong, he was quite the snacker! My bf had Mohab. BEAUTIFUL VIEWS at this ranch. Wide open skies and mountainous landscapes with a rich history! Don't skip on this place! Run, don't walk, to book a reservation. We stayed 2 nights, and wish our trip was longer so we could have stayed longer. We did go on a night hike with the lanters. They have chairs out on some trails to enjoy that big starry night sky. You see everything from open planes to tall mountain views. We got to ninety six hundred feet elevation from seventy five hundred feet,the starting point. Dust on the paths were doable with no issues. The helmets and face mask, as well as eye protection, were provided and worked awesome. Craig, the owner is very welcoming and does a super job running his company. I had a problem with my phone service. And he loaned me his phone for over an hour till I got my problem resolved. I was part of a small group that did a full day trip with Glenwood Canyon Rafting last Saturday…read more Although I'd been canoeing in whitewater rivers many times I hadn't ever been rafting, not sure why it just hadn't worked out. After arriving in the morning we were outfitted with PFD's and helmets, then given a good talk about safety. Next we jumped on a bus headed up Glenwood Canyon to the Shoshone exit, about 10 miles up river from where we started. By far, the best part of the day was the first half hour or so. Lots of action right from the jump, and lots of me wandering why in the hell I hadn't done this before! There was a good deal of paddling to do in that first part, but it was way more fun than effort. Since we only had 5 in our group we were able to go out on the 14 footer instead of one of the bigger 16 foot rafts like the others on our bus. This let us go through a couple things they couldn't, and overall offered a little more exciting ride. After the first bit it was mostly a float trip with only a few spots for paddling. This allowed our great guide Otto to regale us with tales about the river, the area around it, and the people that work on it. Along with a few other choice stories that you'll have to get from him sometime, if you're lucky enough to get him as your guide too. After 10 miles on the river we arrived back to the boathouse and had lunch, which comes with the full day trip. It was WAY better than anyone in our group thought it would be. Burgers, hot dogs, chicken, and pulled pork with all the fixin's. Water and lemonade were included but if you wanted a pop or a beer they had them available for purchase inside. After lunch it was back on the river for a very chill 7 miles of mostly floating. The only wrinkle we hit was some fairly hard rainfall, which did soak us pretty good but didn't dampen our experience one bit.

We waited for 3 hours . Sitting in the parking lot!!! The only reason we waited was the family DROVE from Texas just for a trip to go white water rafting this weekend. This company works out of a spa. The receptionist was nice, but no help. She called the owner multiple times and he never answered. She said "if it was me I would have left hours ago and I'd be way more pissed and mean than y'all even are." Shes right. She wasn't even able to grant a refund or do anything for us. No one reached out, no one even reached out to say they were running late. No apology, no explanation. We're driving back having wasted an entire day plus says of driving on this. Beyond a scam.

Whether you are an absolute beginner or an advanced kayaker who has not paddle the Colorado company this company has something for everybody For the beginner, they have amazing lessons and safety training and for more advanced paddlers, they have can take you down challenging river runs It's also the "complete package" --they have all the equipment all the logistics worked out . you just show up at their place in Edwards and they take care of everything and then bring you back to the point of origin. The drive to most places where you put in boats on the river are 30 to 40 minute drive so very close to the Vail area and convenient. A recent trip with " Matt " was one of the best I've had in which we had both experienced and beginners in our crew and Matt catered to every level as we went down the river and provided great river training skills and even acted as "photographer" for the trip .
