I took my shirt to them and gave specific instructions on where the patches need sewn on at and I was assured by them that they would be sewn on correctly. The lady working there told me they do Military uniforms, which require patches to be exact, so I felt pretty good about having them sew my patches on. Seven days later I go to pick up the shirt and find all three patches to be sewn on incorrectly. All three of them are not centered and crooked. One of the patches is sewn on with black thread, which wouldn't be a problem if the patch wasn't WHITE. The black thread stood out like a soar thumb! To top all of this off, after pointing out all the issues, I was told to take it somewhere else and then they tried to charge me full price for the sewing job. After an argument I got out of there without paying anything, although now have to remove the patches, which will most likely ruin them, so new patches will need to be bought. This trip to Boyer's Dry Cleaning has cost me money and aggravation. I would suggest that everyone avoid this place!

I won't risk trying a different place for alterations because because every time I've gone here, the work was wonderful, exactly what I asked for, and done in a timely manner. I've had linen pants, work pants, jeans, etc. all altered here and they've all been perfect. I wouldn't recommend going during the holiday season as they are typically swamped with alternations.

Somehow their tailor had a mixed message and completely deconstructed then reconstructed the dress in an odd way. The tag is now under the arm instead of the back and there is a seam running up the front. The dress no longer fits and is now worthless. It was brand new and still had the price tag. I took it back to show them and Mrs. Kim became combative insisting that the dress was like that when I brought it to them. I have photos before of the dress and it clearly was different. There is no question that it was mistakenly altered at their shop. She refused to listen and accused me of upsetting them. After 20 plus years of frequenting their shop, I'm shocked at her reaction. I've now also seen similar negative reviews. Extremely disappointing. I am now out $250 for the ruined dress and alterations which they refused to reimburse. I will never go there again.
