I found Camelot after searching Yelp and figured I would call before heading over as it is a bit of a drive for me. Owner was super helpful on the phone with pricing information and was just an overall pleasant person to deal with. I gathered up my growing pile of items requiring dry cleaning and headed over. Prices were as discussed, time quoted was as discussed and when I went back to pick up, everything was ready and waiting. Every now and then, I take a few of my hard to wash clothes to the dry clean. This location was responsive; it didn't take long to get my clothes back. I think it was a two day process. One of my shirts has a stain that couldn't come out. Also, one of my dresses seemed like it was barely touched. I'm used to crisp clothing out the dry cleaner; this wasn't the case. For the price, it should've been better delivered. ***in response to owner's comment: All three dresses were not up to par (added other two pics below). We just figured the fabric was a bit difficult to manage especially on the green dress so didn't bother putting it up there. I counted before I left to make sure all pieces were there and that's when I was told about the shirt with the stain that couldn't be removed. I'm sure the cameras there would show that I never took anything out the plastic to fully inspect the end results. Thank you though. Binoy, what a disgusting attitude you have. How dare you say such a thing to a customer? You royally screwed up, and when I questioned the shockingly poor quality of your work you called me lazy? No, dear, I am far from it. You are the lazy one and rude beyond comprehension. A smart woman comes in, who knows her fabrics and the requirements for her expensive linens and clearly you do not, which apparently infuriated you. You didn't even know what long staple cotton was before I told you after the fact. Binoy, I needn't take up an iron because, you see, that's why I hired you. And you failed miserably. I'm glad I made you angry and I'm glad I walked out. I've never seen such shoddy work from a dry cleaner. Be well assured Binoy, that I pay for my services and I pay well for them. However, I will not put up with such an extensive degree of inferior work, nor that level of disgusting abuse from a retailer. I guarantee this review will help many other clients. You are not a four-star cleaner. Just because you have control of that market right now, as more talented dry cleaners have not yet moved into the area, that certainly does not mean that you have the ability to manage high quality items, nor do you have the ethics and capacity to serve. You are the only dry cleaner in the area, and you simply specialize in shirts and other every day items and that is all. I hope you learned a good lesson, because you should never tell clients that you can do things that you can't. As a matter fact, you should be paying for my time, the 80 minutes that I spent driving to and from your shop. Further, you can complain and attempt to debase me all you want but you do know Binoy, that pictures speak volumes. So take some time to look at what you did to my linens. Everyone else will. Bad customer services, from desk guy was very rude when question about the pricing. He wouldn't shut up about the government and his bills. So I was told by an employee that they did not accept Amex. That's all I had with me. I said I've been in business for over 25 years and would never reject a reasonable form of payment a customer wanted to offer. The manager stepped up and said that's my prerogative, and if I didn't like it I could take my business elsewhere. So I will. But I find it surprising that a business person would rather forgo future sales than take a card that is only slightly higher and often not higher than other credit cards. Profit margins for this business type are around 30% according to online information, the additional cost is often less than 100 bps and can be zero with cash discount programs readily available in the market place. But he would rather lose future sales over this non-sensible position. He's right, it's his prerogative. And mine is to go to another dry cleaners. read more

This is an old-school, owner-operated cleaners. I had a challenging stain on my pants and decided to give them a try. I discussed the issue WITH THE OWNER. It was clear to me that he TOOK PRIDE IN HIS WORK and was PROUD OF HIS SHOP. When I returned several days later the issue was resolved. What I liked is that the OWNER personally took care of the spot and described with pride how he got rid of the spot. I moved from NY to Tradition where there are several dry cleaners in the surrounding area, none of whom provided decent service. Some of them actually ruined some of my clothes! I told the owner needed same day service because I had an interview scheduled the next day he went out of his way to help me.
