In this last visit, I needed a pair of pants hemmed and they were able to accomplish the task with no fuss or dely. The time quoted for completion was when the pants were ready and the job was done exactly as requested. The price for a pair of pants to be hemmed was, unfortunately, high but that is also the norm everywhere you call for alterations. $16 in my case so just be aware that the cost to alter might be on par with the cost of a new pair of jeans ($22). I don't understand how a dry cleaner can make your clothes worse than when you dropped them off and what kind of an owner doesn't care at all about customer service or quality. When I got to my event in Orlando, I went to put my blue suit on and the jacket smelled like urine, asked my wife to smell, she agreed. Went to put my black suit on, reeked of urine on the inside of my jacket. I was in a bind so I ended up buying a new suit on the fly. When I called the dry cleaner the next day to ask why my clothes smelled this way, I was informed by the person who answered the phone that it's the dry cleaners chemicals that make the clothes smell this way. (Not a joke..) She then proceeded to explain to me that this is normal with their company, she herself has smelled the chemicals and they often make fabric smell like urine. She informed me that she recommends SMELLING all clothing before leaving so that they may send it back. When I reminded her that I paid extra for next day service, it would've been pointless for me to send it back. She apologized and said my refund would have to be approved by the owners. This really PISSES me off. (pun absolutely intended).

Brought in a suit for dry cleaning for the very first time, and it came back in terrible condition…read more The suit smelled heavily of strong cologne, even though my husband does not wear cologne at all. On top of that, the white lining inside the pants came back covered in blue stains. I brought the issue to the owner's attention and was shocked by how rude and dismissive she was. She immediately questioned whether this was really the first time the suit had been cleaned and acted as if we didn't understand how dry cleaning works. My husband wears suits multiple times a week, and we've been using dry cleaners for decades. We know what properly cleaned clothing should look and smell like, and we have never experienced anything like this before. When I pointed out the strong fragrance, she claimed she couldn't smell anything. When I showed her the blue stains, she said she didn't know what they were and offered no explanation or solution. Instead of taking responsibility or trying to help, she simply said there was nothing she could do. We recently moved here and were looking for a reliable dry cleaner, but after this experience, I would never bring anything back to Leslie's Dry Cleaning, nor would I recommend their services to anyone. Nothing was missed, appliances look like new (oven, fridges, stove tops) lighting fixtures sparkle, The shower looked better then when it was brand new (3 years ago) Cabinets in kitchen and bathrooms cleaned inside and out. Luckily, I was able to be flexible and work with her new schedule. It wasn't convenient, but I was desperate. I paid 3 people each what equates to $40/hr for a "deep clean." It needed some extra attention, but was not in bad shape. It felt pretty expensive, but they did a good job. Skip to December 2022, when I contact Kelly to hire her crew again. I request any time before Christmas and am told "maybe the 15th." I said I need to know for sure. She said, okay.. 15th and I'll tell you the time two days before. I said no, that doesn't work as I have other things to schedule and need a smaller window. She said she'd probably be able to be here sometime between noon and four. I asked if we could narrow the window to 12-2 and she said she hasn't planned that far in advance. (Mind you, today is the 7th and we're talking about service on the 15th.) I said I could wait a couple of days for her to create a schedule, but not a week. And she said we should just cancel. Clearly, Kelly has no interest in working for her clients. She makes you feel like you need to win her approval in order to be lucky enough to overpay her for her poorly-managed services. Kelly Sato Miranda: do better. *Responding: I was willing to forgive your scheduling problems once, that's why I attempted to hire you again. But no, not even the worst box store could get away with a "maybe" delivery date and a "sometime" delivery time. If you want to be the best, treat your clients like you would want to be treated. If you want to be compared to Comcast customer service, well.. then you still need to improve!
