So, I took a look at their website and instantly fell in love with their work. Their wedding story videos go beyond simply showing you each part of the day. Somehow they always find a way to convey a story in the day's footage that tugs at your heart strings. Besides our final video, which my wife and I have viewed way too many times already, I would say that the best thing about TBS is that Ian and Mark were invisible during our wedding. They don't get in the way like other videographers I've seen at other weddings. There were many scenes in our video where I was marveling and saying, "Wow, I did't even notice them there! How'd they get that shot?" The equipment they used were unobtrusive in size, but still very high in quality. We can't say enough good things about Ian, Mark, and Kari. In this day and age, finding a photographer and videographer who knows how to make the right calls for the proper shots and have that work not just for social media but for higher-end real estate listings, was important to us. Our last home sale photos were good but we had no videos, and we felt that wasn't as impressive. This time, we were doing the photography portion ourselves, before using an agent to list, and Josh was flexible about the scheduling, despite his international work travels. He was responsive, thorough, a good listener, helped us work through how to photograph the outdoor waterfront property as well as our larger home for sale, and he took the extra time to ensure it was all really polished and in its best final formatting for each item. After mentioning in an email that I had a Groupon, she wrote back saying, "You did not tell me you were using a Groupon" and said I had to pay several hundred dollars more. I explained to her that the Groupon made no mention of needing to pay any additional monies. Emails went back and forth and even after admitting that the Groupon did not mention needing to pay more, she still insisted I had to pay. I even offered to meet her half way and give her half of the money she requested, but that was not good enough. She still refused to provide service. She scammed me. Normally I wouldn't write a negative review and would just find another photographer, however, with newborn photography, you have to shoot the pictures during a short time frame. Because I set an appointment with her, and spent several days going back and forth with her, I was unable to make an appt with another photographer on such short notice and missed the window. Because of her, I missed out on professional pictures of my baby as a newborn. Shame on her for such poor customer service and business practices.
