They were pretty behind in scheduling, so our 7:30 boat rental turned into a 7:50 boat rental. (It actually worked in our favor this time cause we were a little late anyways, but there were some clearly pretty frustrated people on the dock.) Also, they didn't brief us at the dock and the staff who told us everything once we were at the boat spoke soooo fast, didn't tell us speed limit, and no guidance for operating. Quick to self-teach, but a little stressful at first. So all in all, incredible experience. Love love loved it, but a couple hiccups. Steven was our favorite!!!! I had baby boomers in my party so explaining what was going on to them became a little tedious. Even with that hiccup, Benny & Vusi still delivered great customer service, they were helpful in instructing us how to use the boat, as well as personable and professional. Once on the water, I truly no longer cared about the scheduling situation. With that said, I will very much likely be back.

They don't try to pants you and really are experts, not to mention the very respectable parts department and ship's store. Location is a short walk from Smithsonian and SW Waterfront metros. On the negative side, it is at the very end of the Washington Canal and they don't have gas, but if you don't mind a couple extra minutes on your trip, the affordable slip rates and convenience to the fish market are worth it.
