This made it enjoyable for my toddler. The ride is fun but it isn't anything like the London Eye. The view isn't very impressive. I liked the little "garden space" where we get on because it's all fenced in. It makes it less stressful when you have kids. There are these big green (fake grass) chairs and benches to sit on. There are two trailers that sell burgers and ice cream (not sure what else). It's also located right next to Oxford street and Hyde Park, so there is plenty to do in the area! In sum, it's a good activity to do if you want a break from the crazy busy crowds (at least when we went on Monday!)

It is free of charge, you will find objects there that you can't find anyplace else. And it won't take up more than an hour of your "London time". The closest Underground station is Baker Street. When you're at street level, turn left from the corny Sherlock Holmes statue in front of the station - just as you would if you visit Madame Toussaud's. Pass by all the stupid tourists in the queue and head straight on a little further, then on the next corner you will see the Royal Academy of Music to your left. On the ground floor you will find a temporary exhibit (Last time I visited it was about classical music and WWI) - and some historic documents, photos and scores from the RAM library. Go up to the first floor for a selection of magnificent string instruments (violins by Stradivari, Amati, Guarneri etc) - though some of them may be on loan for a concert). Just terrific - there's even a luthier on the same floor. On the top floor you'll find a delicious selection of keyboard instruments, from harpsichords to modern grand pianos. Usually, there's a RAM student nearby to guide you through the exhibit at no extra charge. If you're interested in classical music AT ALL, go and visit the RAM Museum.

Firstly, it's very cool to wonder past real-live music students (actually maybe this is only the case if you not-so-secretly desperately wish you'd been one). Secondly, it's incredibly cool to be able to wander into a free concert of some of the top up-and-coming musicians playing Beethoven (the focus of this year's Chamber Music Festival). I really want to come back to more concerts, the museum and also they allow the public into masterclasses! Thirdly, their cafeteria has ridiculously cheap food e.g. roast beef & yorkshire pud for £3 (didn't have time to try it which was mega disappointing). Conclusion: rockin.

There is a small bar here that you can grab a drink while you walk around, they take credit cards. Overall it's kinda like a dive museum, but o believe worth it to get off the beaten path and away from the crowd of tourists. It is a sketchy neighborhood and the buses to get here are pretty rundown.

Located in a gated area with working factories, micro breweries and other commercial establishments. Stroll through, it's free and they play great tunes throughout as you enjoy the neon art. The surrounding area has a large number fabulous and authentic global ethnic cuisine options and apparently the longest outdoor street market in London. The William Morris childhood Home and his Museum is also nearby so the area, is free and interesting. Overall it's a great day trip less than 45 minutes tube ride from London.

The response from the Peacock Thearte was 'we are sorry but there is nothing we can do'. ADVCE: Other than stop companies like Theatre Tickets Direct selling tickets to your shows might be something you could consider? Whilst we are going to watch the show, we will never attend the Peacock Thearte again. It is rather ironic that the Theartes here in London have been pleading for Government funding to help them survive the pandemic, and then allow companies like Theatre Tickets Direct sell their shows and treat consumers unfairly in their name. HERE BELOW IS OUR THEARTE TICKETS DIRECT REVIEW ON GOOGLE AND TRUSTPILOT BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY AND BEFORE YOU EVEN CONSIDER USING THEM CHECK THEIR ONE STAR REVIEWS. So, my Wife tried to book two tickets for Saturday Night Fever at the Peacock Thearte for the performance on the evening of the 20 February 2022. Upon visiting their site she notice a block of three front row seats available so she proceeded to book two of the three seats available. She booked one of the two seats but when she tried to book the seat next to the one she had booked she found that system was not letting her do so. Frustrated with this she when out of the booking system and refreshed her browser. Upon going back into the booking system she clicked on the first seat she had booked it and was not showing as available any longer. She then thought well that seat has now gone and successfully booked the other two remaining seats. She went to the secure checkout and paid for the tickets. Within minutes of making the booking she received notification from her bank that Thearte Tickets Direct had debited the cost of all three tickets from her account. She immediately emailed Thearte Tickets Direct advising them of the error within tens minutes of receiving the notification of debit from her bank. She received a very abrupt email the next day from a Nandeep Vyas advising that it was now 'impossible' to issue a refund for the third ticket even though it was probably a glitch in their booking system. We have perused the one star reviews here and would tend to agree with the consensus of opinion expressed therein that the customer service is appalling and that they are potentially scamming consumers. We are consumer lawyers and we will not let this matter rest. We fully intend to drag the matter through the Small Claims Court for a princely sum of £35 to issue on these people, and have them explain their T&Cs to the court is well worth it, and we will publish the outcome here, win or lose. We have also written to the Chief Executive of the Peacock Theatre outlining our dissapointment in the way in which this company represent the theatres who allow them to sell tickets for their shows on their behalf.

A very centrally located and super comfortable theatre. It feels more like a plush cinema hall than…read morethe regular London theatres (live productions) Comfortable seats, with good cushioning and gasp! Plenty of leg room! We were down in the stalls and there are no pillars or other such construction in the middle of the hall, so none of the seats were "restricted view" I'd bought discounted tickets on Time Out and that is always a risk, since you do not know until you've picked up your tickets in the day of the show, what seats are going to be allocated to you. But at the Peacock, that risk is minimised - due to the afore mentioned absence of "restricted view" seats. Temperatures were comfortable throughout. There were cafeterias on both floors (stalls and circle), but we had just had dinner before the show, so we didn't brave the crowds milling around to check it out. They do have a lift for the disabled to use, so access is not an issue, even though the elevator is very slow. I'm not 100% sure about this, but I think they have some kind of tie-up with Sadler Wells as they seem to have a lot of their shows coming up.

Its a great little theatre...the guys kept the queue moving and once inside it was easy to find loos, bars and seats...they did insist no glasses on the front row, plastic only - pretty sensible one would say. A great view from up there - probably the best seats, though frankly, I'm reckon you would get a good view from almost anywhere - the online chart showing seating available helps immensely when deciding It was a fantastic evening...yes, there were a few kids, but this was really one for the parents...you could tell with the exuberant not to say loud, contribution from the audience - everyone there was ready to participate, given the slightest chance This is a FUN evening with all the cast in good form, some excelling and I don't just mean the 2 leads. A few political asides, a few risque moments but basically it was a show to savour. The 3 musicians in the boxes were good too. It was probably a good thing they didn't invite anyone on the stage For me, the best performance came from Oscar Conlon-Morrey who literally threw himself into the part as Jack, the son. Over the top - absolutely...he was supercharged from the moment he came on till the final curtain. I was in Kensington…read moreone evening and was walking past looking at the establishment when the door opened, a friendly face appeared who very kindly gave me a tour of the institution. Classical Indian music and dance lessons are available here. At the weekends for about two hours they have a reasonably priced cafe which I am yet to try and an art gallery space upstairs which I believe can be hired. South Asian language classes are also available. A few weeks later they invited me to join them for Indian Independence Day celebrations where the students performed and the Indian High Commissioner to London gave an excellent speech.

What an awesome venue! The Albany reminds me of a mini-Roundhouse. Very intimate, great feel, close proximity to the performers and a really solid place to go. The sound was impressive and it felt very intimate. My biggest issue was around the whole bar situation. As the place holds 300+ people, there was a Sold Out concert, you would think they would properly staff the bar. Nope. Two staff members who also possessed the ability to be inhumanly slow. Solution was just to order two rounds at a time. Regardless, this is somewhere I would definitely come back to as I really enjoyed the experience here.

Cafe, Garden, Theatre, Workshops, Courses, Collectives and more. And only six minutes to Deptford High Streeet from London Bridge (and about 1 minute walk from the station).

This production is outstanding! We saw Back to the Future, Cabaret and Crazy for You this trip. I can't compare the three since all of them are completely different but I highly recommend this show for something fun and casual. You will not be disappointed. This is also a very family friendly show, the kids in the theatre seemed to enjoy it even if they aren't an 80s baby like me :) Very fun time! Can't ever do theatre in London without ice-cream at intermission, it's mandatory for me. This theatre doesn't have vegan options as our Cabaret production did but I'm consistently on mint chip as a little intermission refresher. If you get tix and haven't seen the movie in awhile I think it'd be fun to watch it first. I didn't have a clue about the movie since it's been forever since I've seen it, but still had a blast - so many laughs and so enjoyable.

The main thing is that there seemed to be plenty of leg room, which is a problem in a lot of Broadway theaters. One interesting note is that there isn't a center aisle. We had seats close to the middle so had to walk past a lot of people/seats to get where we were going, but the seats were great. Getting in and out was very quick and well organized. Kudos to the staff here for having a clean, efficient and fun theater. And I also recommend "Back to the Future"....it's a great show.
