I've been to other photographers that shoot in sheds with no air conditioning. At Cameron's studio, there is good quality air (lol) and a nice changing room with proper privacy. I don't leave a lot of Yelp reviews, but I had such an amazing experience with Cameron, Sivan and their hair and makeup woman Joyce that I want to shout from the highest mountain, "DON'T GO ANYWHERE ELSE FOR YOUR HEADSHOTS!" Amazing things they did compared to other photographers: 1) They took their time. I've had headshot sessions in the past with different photographers where I've paid twice as much (or more) and been rushed through each look. I was there for 3 1/2 hours and never felt rushed. 2) Cameron, Sivan and Joyce all gave me their undivided attention the whole time. I've had sessions with other photographers where I had to listen to them complain about their life or bullshit with the hair and makeup person (who was on his phone) instead of focusing on me, the client. Cameron, Sivan and Joyce helped me do my best work by remaining engaged with me the whole time. 3) I paid for 4 looks, but they ended up giving me 5. Joyce did 5 different hairstyles for me, and changed my makeup for each look as well. She also sat nearby and constantly touched up my hair and makeup. I've had other hair and makeup people hang out on their phone during my shoot, never checking in to see how their work is holding up. 4) They helped pull performance out of me to ensure I got a variety of different facial expressions. Sivan read the dialogue I had written to have with the camera out loud, so I could focus on acting. 5) Sivan acted as a director of the session, which I've never had before, but found SO beneficial. She ensured we got every possible look. 6) Cameron shot more pics than any other photographer I've ever worked with, so I have plenty to choose from. They all came out so good - it's gonna be hard to pick the best shots. 7) Their rates are more reasonable than any other photographer in LA. I paid $450 for 4 looks (which ended up being 5 looks). Over the years I've paid many headshot photographers and one or two of them are at the very top, and now after my in-studio session with Cameron (and Siran) I can tell you he is in that tiny group of top quality headshot photographers in the L.A. area. Not only is he so talented, but he obviously understands all of the elements of lighting and controlled lighting in his studio. This guy is so good that most of the shots are great and can be used, and it's taking me forever to eliminate the ones I can't use because most of his shots are so damn good. He is worth every penny. Get there early to find a place to park and be ready with everything before you walk in. One last thing: I had found another photographer I was going to use, but then he admitted to me he can't shoot inside - only outside- which I don't want because of uneven sunlight and shadows, etc. So I asked him if he could recommend another studio photographer to me, and he didn't hesitate to give me Cameron's name.
