We hired Cy Pollock to install our Bedroom, Hallway and Bi-Fold closet doors. * Bi-Fold doors were cut leaving a crooked and extra wide gap at the top, and or bottom. (Or hung crooked and leaving crooked large gaps) No trim work whatsoever. Extremely amateurish. * Linen Closet door that will not shut properly. People walking by for the fist time try to close it, which of course they can't. It was hung so crooked, the bottom closes, the top doesn't. * Gouge on the bathroom door, and one of the Bedroom doors. * Hardware installed on the outside doors seems off enough to randomly feel like it's locked until you twist hard. * Cy took off our outer door frame leading outside to the garage and said he forgot his saw and would be back to frame the door. He picked up his check and left. This was a lie because I had to clean up two piles of saw dust in the driveway and in the garage after he left to supposedly get his saw. Cy had his saw the whole time. An obvious lie to stick us with an incomplete and horrible looking job. * Pictures to prove the incomplete, and incompetent work that any future customers will also be facing if you hire Cy Pollock. Advice: If you hire Cy, please hire two contractors. The first (Cy) to do an Incomplete job. A second contractor to fix and repair and complete the job. Found similar reviews on the internet. Will be happy to talk to anyone, if need be, and additional pictures. Looked into it: When a contractor walks off a job and keeps your money without completing the work, it is legally referred to as a "Breach of contract".

We gave them the measurements before they came and they came with the right size windows, And sealed up the problem areas we had. Our windows were a little larger than the coupon stated so we all paid a small amount extra for the larger windows. Totally worth it On top of the great work, they were very professional and knowledgeable. They explained everything to me in layman's terms so that I knew what they were doing step by step. They also had me check their work during and after. Our basement is so much warmer now and our dehumidifier barely has to run anymore. After consulting with several different firms we chose to deal with Wonder Windows for the work to…read morebe done at our home in Eden NY because they had the best product with the best insulating qualities and the best price. Since the windows were built to our specifications it took about 1 1/2 months between contract signing and actual work to begin. Between August 4th and August 7th the 4 man crew of Brad, Nick, Danny & Sean worked on our home. Incredibly, the rough installation of the 14 windows was complete on the first day with 3 windows left to install due to the wall reconfiguration that was needed. On day 2, the crew returned and spent the entire day working on finish installing the windows. Around each window, insulating was carefully done to make sure that every possible way that outside air could infiltrate was sealed off. On days 3 & 4, part of the crew concentrated on completing the trim work. The rest removed 3 windows and installed 2 of the 3 in different areas of the wall after demolition and wall reconstruction was completed. The last window was smaller that the one removed of adjustments to the wall opening needed to be made. For this part, the owner came in from Rochester NY to oversee the 2 day project. During the work and at the end of each day the area around and inside our house was cleaned up so that the area was kept very clean. Inside, many drop cloths were used to minimize the mess that was being created. Several times during each day, we were encouraged to review the installation from inside the house and make sure the installation being done was being done as we wanted and to inspect the windows as well so any adjustments could be made, if needed. The few minor details that we pointed out were immediately rectified and we were asked to reinspect to be sure it was done, again to our satisfaction. Brad, Nick, Danny & Sean were incredible. They worked as a team. We were encouraged to also periodically check the outside work, again the be sure it was being done exactly as we wanted. All of our questions were answered with full explanations and, unlike other firm's employees, without being made to feel like nuisance. Many times during each day, Brad would explain where they were in terms of the project and where the next phase of the work would begin. After completion, we were again asked to review their work both inside and outside of the home. The installation was incredibly beautiful and no problems were found. This was an instance of picking the right firm for the job. It was also the right firm to deal with because of their employees. Brad, Nick, Danny & Sean were polite and very friendly. Their work was outstanding and their being there made us believe that we made the right choice. We really encourage anyone needing window installation or replacement to make no decisions until you check with Window World.
