During the session, he stepped away for a phone call that lasted about 10 minutes. While he didn't realize it, I overheard him speaking about my fiancée and me in a disrespectful and derogatory way. What made it even more uncomfortable was that when he returned, he acted as if nothing had happened--switching into a friendly demeanor, smiling, and continuing the session as though the call had been entirely routine. Kate was a calming presence for all of us. She went out of her way to include our most reluctant 5 year old great-nephew in the large family shot. an important add-on the the quality of the photos is that she delivered as promised: 20 'sneak peak' photos arrived online within a week and the remainder within 3 weeks, and then a lovely box arrived by mail with a handful of 5x7 photos, that I still carry around to share whenever someone asks about the wedding. Just so many thoughtful touches of customer service that enhance the whole experience.
