I wasn't able to make it because I had car trouble. Thanks for asking." She was recommended by our normal photographer, who was out of town. I have been trying to reach Kayla for 3 weeks now in regards to a retainer I paid in error to her…read more I explained to her via text and email that I had confused her with the actual photographer I did book with. I only received one reply from her where she tells me I was confused and that I did book with her, and that she would send a contract over the following day, which she never did. I once again explained the entire situation and she ignored that email and I never got a reply back. I understand she is busy, but at this point I feel she has been extremely unprofessional and rude. No contract was signed, no date and time was ever set up. Only form I did fill out was the initial googledoc asking basic Information. Maybe to her or others, $100 isn't a lot of money but to keep that money when NO service was ever set up or received from her is so unprofessional and theft in my opinion. I will attempt to contact her 1 more time but I honestly doubt she will reply back.
