Service was good, restaurant was nice but the food is severely lacking. The salsa is pace, no spice or flavor. The ground beef was almost white, like boiled. Nobody ate it. The kids burrito was a microwaved tortilla with grey/white ground beef inside. We probably should have said something but instead paid and left the food we couldn't stomach. So disappointing as we had been wanting to try this place for a long time and had high hopes for it. Personally it's my favorite Mexican restaurant. I always get the chicken and shrimp fajita from here. It's usually on point. I've had a couple encounters where it was off a little bit, but everyone has bad days but if I had to pick any Mexican restaurant in town, it's definitely Camino Real their fajitas are the best. The place was busy, and we expected better food and better service. Im from Southern Cal, and unfortunately some of the worst mexican I have ever had. The House salad consisted of iceberg lettuce with canned carrots and green beans dumped on top. My Burrito Real, with chicken was slapped together with cold tortilla, and not sure what else. Seating time was quick and the service was also. The guacamole was excellent. I ordered the carnitas and was pleasantly surprised at the large portion. They are crooks! Pay with cash, the food is good but DO NOT trust them when they run your debt card. I come to Tullahoma once a month an usually don't have any issues. But on my last trip my total bill was 19.56 and that was with the tip. When I got home and checked my statement they had charged me the 19.56 and immediately ran my card again for $30.00! So glad we went here today. Never heard of this chain until now and I have to say, their selection of authentic Mexican fare is astounding. I always go for my two faves when I go eat Mexican food. Barely seen the waitress, had to flag someone down every time we needed more chips or drink refill. Waited 45 minutes for our food. They apologized telling us they had a lot of to go orders they were working on. Our food all came at separate times and one person was done eating before the next got their meal.
