The place is really cute. There is a fountain in this section we sat in. Very relaxing. The building itself is very colorful and the decor is colorful but not overdone like some Mexican restaurants can be. This salsa is good My husband squeezed a little lemon and some salt and pepper and it was amazing. We got fajitas that of course came out really fast, hot, and ready and sizzling. We asked for cheese and got a whole ramekin of it for free. We also asked for an extra set of tortillas on our way out the door and they gave us those for free. The margarita I ordered was also really good. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because the service was a little off that night. In my humble opinion: I've been to better Mexican restaurants, but for Tullahoma, this is the best it's got to offer. Curb appeal is bright, colorful and happy. Patio seating is available. Ambiance is fun. Also festive and colorful. Our server was prompt. Osca (r?) was a super cutie patutie, and made sure we had everything we needed. I ordered the jalapeño chicken appetizer. That was an odd item. Roasted jalapeño with a chili lime salt all over. And chicken broth. Honestly it was way too salty. Everyone seemed to enjoy their food and finished it, but mom had the hit at the table. The camarones costa azul at $14 was and amazing dish. Affordable and delicious. This was my first visit to Casa Mexico. I drive by it several times a week and decided to give it a try. Located across from Publix, entrance and exit to their parking lot is very easy. The restaurant is very festive as well as clean. I was greeted and seated immediately. I was served chips and salsa almost almost instantly, and I also requested a side of guacamole. The server was prompt, and came back twice during my meal to see if I needed any more tea. The food was served quickly and I was warned that it was on a very hot plate. It is not the best nachos I've had, but they were very good. For my taste, they were lacking enough flavor. To others, they might have been perfect. Never disappointed, food is always out extremely fast, service is excellent, two for one margaritas can't be missed, and the best sangria I've ever tasted. I've eaten here 3 times, which is 2 times too many! I believe in 2nd chances, but this place certainly failed. The food is barely mediocre. I ordered the Tex-Mex burrito. It's basically a tortilla filled with rice, with a few bits of steak and chicken. It's very dry. It definitely needs some type of sauce. Do not recommend. We never got the appetizer we ordered either. We never got a single drink refill, AND the waitress didn't bring the booster seat for my 2yo until about halfway through the meal. It's not like you missed the 2yo sitting in the booth. Overall, it's a very poor example of a restaurant, and poor customer service. We won't be going back to give them any more chances. We use to eat here about 2-4 times a month. The service steadily went down hill to the point we would have to get up and go to the bar for our own drink refills. The food went downhill also. You have a 50/50 shot at getting what you order. We stopped coming as often going things might get better but on our last visit, we were overcharged. Overcharged for so so food, the worst service ever, couldn't get a drink refill, couldn't get an extra napkin, couldn't even get our ticket. When we told the people at the register that the ticket was wrong, they told us no, that we were wrong! We know what we ordered! We will never come back here. The management of this place must be of very low standards. The employees are not trained well or they just don't care. They are rude, very poor customer relations, the bathrooms are usually dirty and unkept. Just nothing good I can say about it. read more

My family and I always loved Casa Mexico. Today we went for lunch and decided to share a chicken fajita nachos. As we were eating my 9 year old said there was a bug on his chip. My husband and I both told him that it was not a bug, that it was just an herb or piece of vegetable. However, he was persistent and said he was not eating any more food, so I looked closer at it. Thats when I saw legs and realized it was a bug. My husband had to put on his glasses to see it better, scraped it off of the chip and agreed it was a roach. We called a worker over and showed him. He looked at it, never said a word, took the plate away (after we had taken pictures) and then someone else brought us our bill. No apology from staff or management. They took the price of the nachos off our bill, but I would have appreciated some sort of humility or apology. read more

No bueno. Terrible. No way Jose. My in-laws took us to Casa Mexico because we thought it'd be nice to sit on the patio. Although there were open tables, it took the host 10 minutes to seat us. Chips came but no water. The chips were tough and stale. The salsa was unappetizing. We listened to the roar of Jackson Street as we waited for our order to be taken and inhaled quite a bit of cigarette smoke from adjoining tables... So the patio experience wasn't what we were hoping for. Three of our party ordered burritos which were basically some crap thrown into a generic, cold flour wrapper. Guac was that reconstituted green goop. My son's taco was ground beef, Taco Bell quality, and my carnitas were the greatest travesty of them all: chunks of pork that tasted like they came from a none-too-fresh fryer at a Chinese-American restaurant. Rice and beans were nothing to write home about and could safely be called under-seasoned. Margaritas were syrupy and no one even offered me the choice of a corn tortilla. Overall, a huge waste of time and money. In fact, we all left saying we should've gone to Taco Bell instead... Or, better yet, Las Trojas down the street. So i'm a taco fanatic....hard shell tacos are my favorite food on the earth. So while working at Arnold AFB for a few weeks i have hit every mexican restaurant in Tullahoma and Manchester and the winner of the best taco is....Daddy Billy's Deli in Tullahoma (outstanding tacos 5 stars) but, Casa Mexico's tacos are damn good and are a little cheaper than Daddy Billy's. I cannot speak for the whole menu because i have only had the tacos and Chili Relleno's but, both were very good. Highly recommend if your craving Mexican. read more

So disappointed with this restaurant and the owner. We just discovered this Mexican restaurant this summer and we're reasonably pleased. However, last week my daughter in law and grandchildren ate there on my recommendation and 3 of 6 were very ill with probable food poisoning all night long. When we stopped at restaurant to let them know the manager was very nice, took our phone number and said he would speak with the owner and call me. Two days later when I had not heard from them, I called and spoke with the owner. He was very rude and condescending and unwilling to admit there had been an issue without a hospital visit. My daughter in law is a nurse practitioner so I think she can recognize stomach disorders without visiting the hospital. Needless to say, there will be no future visits for our family to casa Mexico! Completely disappointed from the whole experience. The building has a great vibe when you pull up. it has outdoor seating and cool atmosphere. When we were seated, the waiter was kind but he only brought us half of our drink order. When we asked him, he said he would be right back but he never returned with rest of drink order. The salsa is clearly store bought and not made in restaurant. It was flavorless and bland. It didnt matter because we ran out of salsa and chips, and the waiter never refilled. We also never had our drinks refilled the entire meal. The two meals that we ordered were both very poorly done. I order a taco salad, and it was only halfway filled with chicken and lettuce. The meat tasted like oil and it was not worth eating. My wife tired the taquitos, and they are completely flavorless. She kept saying that it felt like they missed some ingredients. Checked the order while there, to make sure it was right. It was not right. Baja burrito became a fajita burrito. Shredded chicken nachos were ordered but got nachos supreme. The California burrito was correct. As I told her certain items were wrong, the young lady insisted I was wrong and this is what I ordered. So, they re-made the items, though she was very annoyed with me. Also ordered beef nacho supreme which looked normal thru the container lid and a tamale. Got home. Cut into the Baja burrito which was supposed to be with mixed seafood, was all shrimp and rice. The tamale was flavorless. The beef nachos supreme were wrong also with shredded chicken, instead of the beef. Total mess of an entire order. Note to management: please train your staff to know your menu. also and most importantly, do not tell your customers that they are wrong and this is what they ordered when they did not. The third time we have had "curly" hairs in our food. I would NOT recommend this place to someone I hate!!! Service is OK but the hairs are unsanitary to say the least. We found a bug in our pitcher of margaritas. I requested it come off of our tab instead of getting a new pitcher. I was told it could come off, but when I received my bill the pitcher was on there. I walked up to the front to ask why and the manager basically chewed me out saying she couldn't take it off because she claimed the bug wasn't in there when they put it on our table- even though she didn't serve it to us. After telling me off in Spanish and humiliating me she took the pitcher off the receipt and tossed it at me and stormed off. Horrible customer service.
