Basically, they are a camping facility for special needs, kids from 6 to adults in their 70's. Camp gives them an opp to explore, try new things, break barriers... and it also gives care-takers a break. Facilities are fairly comprehensive even if I didn't get to see half of it (they have a pool and, get this, a zip-line!), nor did I look inside any of the cabins.I was there just to volunteer for their fund-raising walk, helping set up and then running one of their games once guests started arriving. It's only the second time they're doing it, but they have quite a few sponsors, and the event was quite well organized. I'm sure it will continue to grow so that more kids and adults will benefit from the wonderful service it provides. Me, I also like their color scheme!

Based on the course description this one was project based, basically coding to teach the game how to play rock paper scissors. They also had all sorts of culinary time everyday. On the last day they invited the parents to show us what they made and been working on. We got to try the treats the kiddos had made for us and see their coding. If you have a hands on kid like mines I think your kiddo would really enjoy this. They also take them outside to play out back. I thought the space was really nice too. It's very huge - open with different rooms for different things, and lots of long clear window walls. I should have asked for a tour because it's pretty huge and I believe host a robotics club. I can describe it as very modern tech environment and design. I definitely see bringing my kiddo back for more learning and enjoyment here.

Ms. Skyler is a sweet teacher for the younger kids, Ms. Jess has been a wonderful teachers when our baby was in the twos room, Ms. Kita and Ms. Naya are great at creating routines and structure in the older room. Ms. Salomie and Ms. Wanda are the sweetest and most welcoming teachers. Megan has been a shining beacon in gaining insight on what management is working on and bridging any gaps between parents and staff. The teachers are all very sweet, positive attitudes and try their best to keep children engaged and progressing. They do activities, teach children to use the potty, teach cleaning up after meals, washing hands, taking turns in play, singing and dancing. Our son, like most children I imagine, goes through tough days and good days but I think everyone there truly wants the kids to thrive and so we work as a team to communicate and keep it positive. No system is perfect but communication and live camera access are wonderful things that ensure the children are priority. We even met parents that are now friends of ours and we meet outside of school to have the kids all play. My only critique on the structure is I wish the teachers had more support on cleaning. They do a great job but I think corporate should allocate funds for raises for all staff and for a floater to come in to help tidy so we get more fun time for the kids.

I have never had any issues with this ever before at his previous daycare. Well, his second day back he ended up getting a cut and a black eye basically from "falling" again. I decided to take that day off to watch the cameras to see if they were doing their jobs. I sat and sat and watched the camera. The teacher was grabbing the children(s) arms above the wrist as well as the upper arm and pulling them to sit down. I watch many times the teacher(s) not paying attention and I watched a younger child laying on the floor and then another little girl stomping as hard as she could on his hands, back, and stomach. If that were my son I would have drove down in a heartbeat. I was so excited to enroll him in this daycare however THIS location IS NOT IT. Those two days he was there my child came back home starving literally crying because he was so hungry and thirsty and every time I even drove in the parking lot he would start screaming and crying and saying no no no... I have never ever had any issues like this before. On top of that him being in there 2 days I still paid his daycare fee for the two weeks which is above 300 dollars and they did not offer any composition after stating to me that they would work with me while I got my ELC transferred. Not saying that I need it, but it would have been nice of them to accommodate due to everything that happened. Please mommy's be cautious.

Updating this review as my son has moved up in classes within this childcare facility…read more I wanna say that he is really had a decent experience there, but I feel like this is all a business more than it is a place for kids to feel safe. My child would be transitioned very quickly after turning a new age and it was just really abrupt and I don't feel like the transition had the interest of the child at heart. It was more to get new children - into the facility to earn more money; And I do understand that it is a business, but I do feel like depending on the child, there should be some more compassion given. There were too many times that my child was getting hurt in the older classes, and I was finding out about it late or not finding out about it at all. If I Would find out it was through my child and then the teachers would confirm. No Incident reports were written nor did directors know (but I feel like that was more because it was pushed under the rug by leadership) I should've been called each and every time regardless of the severity. I feel like there was also lots of gaslighting going on. Saying that kids were getting expelled from the facility for their repeated incidents of bad behavior and hitting, and that was not the case (all in all it was to keep business and money flowing into the facility). Won't be back this year for VPK. I still believe that the younger teachers 2a and below are great and children will be taken well care of. Just can't say the same about the older classes. 3's class was not too bad. Destine and Chesney were such great teachers!

The open door policy, the fact that they listen to concerns and provide feedback. They are always there for my kids. You can tell they really care about the kids and want the best for them. It's amazing knowing my children are in such great hands! I love the cameras and access to see what my kids are doing throughout the day. The pictures and updates at the end of the day. The fact that they're always willing to help and answer the phone w any concerns or issues. Everyone is very friendly and inviting. I'm glad I chose them. They've been great!
