Overall it was a hood experience.

Complex is easy to get to being a part of Disney with parking being an ease. Pick a sport, name a sport... ESPN got with their huge baseball complex and indoor arenas. The many dozens of outdoor fields can hold many games at the same time. Although the field quality can be better but it's not horrible considering the amount of traffic and events they hold so kudos to the ground crew for keeping the field quality decent considering the amount of usage weekly. The complex is organized and easy to get around. Wish they would strongly enforce a harder trash mandate to ensure patrons pick up after themselves as more often than none, teams and patrons leave a mess around bench's and team sidelines after each game. Although it's not ESPN's fault and more on the citizens attending events to clean up after themselves. They have several food outlets and vendors and food trucks for those long days on the field. With the hot Florida sun, love that they have watering and hydration stations around the fields with plenty of water coolers to help athletes stay cool and hydrated. However, I wish they have more shaded areas and maybe even covered spectator viewing areas or benches as the sun can be brutal so come prepared with your own tent or umbrella, etc Overall, attended many events and competitions at the venue and it's always a great facility and they always put in a great show overall!

This beautiful and well maintained park offers an array of recreational amenities. Sports enthusiasts will appreciate the basketball, softball, tennis, and racquetball courts along with a soccer on the multipurpose field. As a nature lover I enjoyed the many boardwalks with views of the lake and the sidewalk which meanders through the entire park. It is perfect for walking for exercise and I saw the cutest marsh rabbit as I made my way through the park. There are also two fishing piers. Kids will spend hours playing and on the two imaginative playgrounds. Secret Lake Park is also home to the recently renovated Casselberry Recreation Center which has a main room, ballroom, billiards room, computer room, outdoor deck area, activity room, and outdoor pavilions. The recreation center offers many programs from youth to senior. They include exercise, yoga, Tai Chi, Zumba, and dance classes. The park is also the host of several beloved Casselberry traditions like the HOWL-O-WEEN Dog Walk-a-Thon and Canine Costume Contest, Art & Music in the Park & Food Truck Bazaar, and the Casselberry Easter Egg Hunt. I really enjoyed my visit to Secret Lake Park. It is the perfect outdoor recreation destination for families, fitness seekers, and sports lovers. You can go for peaceful stroll, play basketball, or watch the kids play safely. The scenic lakeside views, comprehensive recreational programs, and variety of amenities add to the charm and versatility of this park.

The park was created in 1926 when Sadie Conner Trimble who was the first postmistress of Lake Jem and her husband R.J. Trimble donated 71 acres to create Trimble Park. In October 1978, Orange County purchased another 31.5 acres from a failed development and used it to create the campground area. The main feature of the park is the picnic grove and playground at the end of the road. My favorite part of Trimble Park however was the hiking area where there is a 1.3 mile loop trail suitable for all ages and hiking abilities. The trail takes you around the perimeter of the triangular shaped park and down to Lake Beauclair where ancient oaks ring the lake. Over the trail are mature wild citrus trees which produce fruit and blooms throughout the year. Birds you might encounter include osprey, ibis, red-winged blackbirds, and herons. Trimble Park also has a 15 site campground for groups, trailers. and single tents that is set around a small cove along Lake Carlton. Here you will also find fishing decks and a launch for paddlers. It is easy to see why this park is a favorite outdoor recreational destination for families, campers, and nature enthusiasts. Whether you're looking to camp, hike, fish, or simply relax, this park provides a welcome and peaceful retreat in Central Florida.

You cannot expect people who bring their dogs here to have any reasonable training nor management of their dog(s). I have been about to enter when a man was chatting with another actually said he,"gave up on the whole idea of training when he couldn't get his dogs to come to him." His dogs were in the park at that moment. We currently have a rescue dog who was abused by other dogs and has an aggression level of Patrick Starfish. I only take him in if no other dogs are inside. A few days ago, he was running his Chariots of Fire, run when a lady came in with three cattle dogs. They immediately chased my dog who ran away to the farthest end of the park and tried to get out the back gate. I told the lady that my dog was scared of other dogs. She literally did nothing. I had to leave my dog's poop and go rescue him. Two of her dogs left bothering him, but one chased him back to the gate when he started to run to me. He was SO panicked we could not walk the sidewalk along the park back to the car (he weighs as much as me and wasn't having it). Yesterday, we found it empty again and he began his happy run and suddenly a big huge black dog was standing there about 15 yards away. His owner told him to leave it & he ignored us and went on about sniffing around the park. I was able to get the leash back on and get out the nearest gate without incident. My dog was scared, but not tormented at all. A long walk and he was back to himself and calm. Thank You to the owner of that big beautiful, well behaved black dog!!
