I had been searching for lessons for my child and stumbled across their site and ad on Craigslist. I was impressed with the instructor's credentials and work with kids so it seemed to be a good fit for my needs. Upon my first visit, she greeted me promptly at our lesson time. She introduced herself, pointed out the horses and pony and started instruction immediately. What I liked is that she began the lesson with getting my daughter familiar with the pony, safety, grooming, saddling, picking, etc. The instructor is patient and my daughter is very comfortable around her. It also helps that she's a military brat :). There are a lot of "brats" around these parts and I try to support these business owners when I can. Unlike many facilities, they are closer to areas in eastern Prince William County, a definite plus for those in Woodbridge/Dale City. It is a small stable with 4 horses and 1 pony on the premises from what I've seen. The horses appear healthy and well maintained. The barn is kept clean. I don't know how long my daughter will want to continue horseback riding lessons at her age but she appears to really enjoy them and her time at the stables.

Phyllis and our personal guide Sean kept adjusting as the conditioned changed ! The city was great, our safari and accommodations were superb, and the Richard Branson resort was spectacular even though we literally were their only guest due to countries closing down due to Covid. We were treated royally ! We would highly recommend this tour group for their outstanding personalized care!

Because it is daunting to plan a trip half-way around the world when there is only limited travel information available, I decided to use experts who have actually lived in South Africa AND know what it is like to be a tourist there. They have test driven all their recommendations for safety, comfort, value, and reliability. I have to say that I hit a real home run by picking this company. Everything fell into place from the airport pickup clear though my airport drop-off. In the process, I experienced the trip of a lifetime that far exceeded my expectations which included terrific guided tours of major visitor destinations, scrumptious accommodations, horseback riding through wine country, and a safari experience that knocked my socks off. Plus they made me realize that luxury was not beyond my pocketbook! Using Wild Life Safaris was one of the best decisions I have ever made.

It is also a wonderful family-owned stable--Tim is around the property all of the time, and clearly loves what he does and loves those horses. The horses get basically free rein and are very well tended to. I was the only person that morning so it was just me and my guide peacefully riding through the woods. I will say it rained the morning I went and for some reason that equates to spiders coming down from the trees and riding through their webs that you couldn't really see coming.... let's just say my first lesson of 33 was to *breathe*. Luckily, my instructor was in front of me and caught most of the webs before I did. Lol. Afterward, they were okay with me walking the grounds a bit which are beautiful and I watched some of the kids take lessons and chatted with the horses in the barn. It was really enjoyable. I'll be back.
