My son loved this camp so much for the past two summers. We both had nothing but glowing things to say about it. We were both absolutely heartbroken when new owners came and made sweeping changes that would exclude many if not most Camp Woodmont families from Camp Woodmont in the future. I am so glad that it will continue to be the same wonderful, affordable experience for girls and boys. Please send your kids to this camp if you can! They will have an amazing time.

But if your kids love being challenged and love the outdoors, this is where you want them. My son is going to camp here for the seventh summer in a row and there is no place he would rather be. Our daughter loved being a camper here so much the five summers that she came here that she is spending this summer as a counselor. The kids stay busy doing things like tubing on Carter Lake, rafting, swimming, horseback riding in addition to playing amazing tribal games. But there is also a focus on spending time with God and how important that is for us. The counselors and staff are simply amazing. They are fun and full of energy and love and compassion. I could not recommend this camp more highly. It is truly magnificent.

This is an amazing place!!…read more Plenty of parking and port-a-potties We came for unicorn day!! It was amazing! All the horses had beautiful horns and painted hair (like pastel chalk that does not hurt them). All animals are under the most wonderful care and we are given instructions on how to approach them and observe them. Amongst many things we saw a baby chick being hatched, baby bunnies, adult bunnies, donkeys, sheep's, horses, pigs, pony's, goats, doves, chickens, roosters, chicks and of course UNICORNS! Staff was out of this world helpful!! So sweet and kind. It was a hot day and they let my little nephew play in the clean water they had to cool off! We even got a tractor ride! They have a beautiful tree swing and so many cute picture spots! Pack a picnic (but be careful not to throw any food on the ground the animals each have specific diets and we wouldn't want them to eat anything that could hurt their stomachs). Also there is hand sanitizer but I would suggest bringing some soap and water if you want to wash your hands. Just ask for the best place to do that! They have a pretty Montessori style here. You're given help in approaching the animals and donkeys sheep and goats are sitting all around and you can walk around and pet them. There are brushes set aside for you to brush them too!! The more attention specific animals like the bigger bunnies were handled with the wonderful caregivers! Allowing people to hold the more socialized animals even! Also the unicorns were beautiful with flower leis and gorgeous horns! Absolutely a must to do for any birthday, field trip, or just a way to get kids used to animals in a wonderfully comfortable setting.

First, let me say this. I a not going to write an entire book just to say how awesome this place…read moreis. I do not think every review MUST have so many "fluff" words to get a point across. That said.... I went on a tour to see how this place was because I had heard so many great things about it. It was like a dream come true for me. If you are a Tech person then you would love this place. However, this place is for kids/teens. They provide camps throughout the year teaching them valuable skills that could eventually land them jobs as entrepreneurs, Google workers, the list goes on. I love how they're giving our youth things to do, actual things that bring benefit to the youth. The set up in there is so very inviting and the staff seemed to enjoy their jobs. I only gave a 4 star because of the hidden location. I had to use my navigation to find the place. Anyway, if you have kids, nieces or nephews interested in Tech, send them there ASAP!
