Hidden away behind a grimy brick facade in Cammeray is an olde worlde pizza restaurant.
Previously owned by and equally olde worlde and grimy bloke it is under new management by some young blokes.
With a tiny seating area for about 20 and a robust takeaway business the place was over busy the night we came.
So, the good: quaint interior, robust menu, awesome Meatlovers pizza (well I thought so, she was not so enamoured with her Caprioccosa) nice cold bottles of water.
The bad: we waited an hour for 2 pizzas. Service was non existent, and the wait for a box to take away the leftovers was interminable. In the end they gave her a box and she packed it herself - not so good. They knew it was too slow and we did get an apology which is nice but would have preferred to get our food a bit quicker.
Still, nice thin base, crispy enough, good flavours - we'll give them another whirl. read more
