I had a large limb break, and another cracked, on an easily accessible tree. Mike quickly responded and came to remove the broken limbs and to do a prune. After removing the largest broken limb and doing the prune. I paid for the service but noted one limb was still up there cracked and ready to fall. Plus the debris was piled right next to the fire hydrant, blocking it. He said he'd return the next day but did not. Several days later the work was still not completed. Contacted Mike and he promised to be out the next day. Next day has come and gone and still the rest of the work has gone unfinished, and the debris pile remains.

Not only was the owner Mike prompt in replying, but he was timely in coming to the residence to expertly work up, what was to become a detailed, comprehensive and competitive bid on the requirements and needs of my planned request. In doing so earning my business. The massive and towering trees slated for removal were on a hillside near power lines and structures which was a cause for concern, and would therefore require the work of only the most skilled and experienced tree service. And it was those very qualities that I discovered when dealing with Sorenson Tree Service. I could not help but be impressed with the friendly attitude, courteous professionalism, and a definitely prepared and involved work ethic that was demonstrated by the entire staff. The problem trees were dispatched and removed in an amazingly well orchestrated manner and the crew also did in outstanding job of cleaning up after the extreme heavy work was done. Kudos, and a well deserved thanks to such a concerned and dedicated team of professionals that met all of their customer needs. Scott took it upon himself, to enter my fenced yard, and chop off the branches of an apple tree, that is growing in another neighbors yard, but hangs on my property (WELL over the fence and at least 6-10 feet onto my property). Scott Sjogren, did NOT have permission to enter my property, nor did he have permission to cut any branches that were on a tree, he was NOT being employed to trim. There was one branch from the apple tree, that touched the neighbors shed. Instead of taking care of that ONE branch, Scott Sjogren trespassed on my property, dropped large (10-15ft) branches onto my fence, clothes line and into my yard. His response to me confronting him on the trespass and destruction, was to yell at me, blame my neighbor by saying the neighbor told him to chop up the tree, and say he was going to offer the neighbors, that own the apple tree, free service and cut the apple tree down from outside of my fence. Unprofessional and unethical business practices. Scott Sjogren looked like he just rolled out of bed, as he was unkempt, disheveled, and slurred his words. If you see this person trimming trees near your property, watch out... He may chop up and destroy something on your property, and then blame the neighbors. Stay away from this person.

I had a very disappointing experience with Bills Tree Service. The crew was working on my…read moreneighbor's property and decided to try and cut a tree directly over my parked vehicle without giving me any notice. I have lived next to this property for over 16 years, and the property owners have always allowed us to park in those spaces during certain hours. I was parked there just as I have been for years without any issues. There were a couple of cones blocking two parking spaces, but they had been sitting there for weeks--over a month after a storm. Because they had been there for so long, they did not indicate that tree work was taking place that day. There were no additional cones, signs, or warnings where my vehicle was parked. I only found out what was happening because another neighbor called me to warn me. When I went outside to move my car, I couldn't. One of the workers had equipment positioned just inches behind my vehicle, leaving me with no room to back up and no way to move forward. When I explained that there was literally no way for me to move my car, the older worker responded, "Figure out a way to move it, I'm not moving." He then continued making rude and disrespectful comments, including saying, "Figures, you're probably such a bad driver you can't even do that." He later claimed they had asked for the cars to be moved, but I was never informed in any way. No one knocked on my door, left a note, or spoke to me before they started working over my vehicle. The complete lack of communication, the willingness to cut a tree over someone's car, and the disrespectful way I was treated were extremely unprofessional. A simple knock on the door or a few minutes of communication could have prevented this entire situation. Instead, I was insulted and expected to move a vehicle that was physically blocked by their equipment. Based on my experience, I would not recommend Bills Tree Service.
