My husband and I purchased our very first 5th wheel from Camperland just a little over two years ago. The sales process was enjoyable and they didn't try to "oversell" us. The make ready and training was done thoroughly and timely. Since then, we've had two "show stopping" issues while on the road- both times the service department was EXTREMELY helpful and walked us through what we needed to do to be able to enjoy the rest of our trip. Although we do have an extended warranty and we could have enlisted a mobile RV service to fix the problem, it was easier to just fix it ourselves and the service department made it easy to do so. Worst experience I've ever had purchasing something this expensive The manager Amy did her best to help But it's been a huge ordeal I went in physically into the store to replace a propane tank that was leaking (brand new $80k} The unit wasn't ready for pick up to begin with we went in and gave our money for the sink to be leaking the hot water heater did not work, speakers were not functioning light weren't hooked up. And they knew about it a week in advance showed up two days next transport still wasn't fixed They narrowly got the sink fixed Most was corrected before pickup Only to get it on site and power it up to find additional issues The service department and specifically Sarah had the absolute worst customer service I've ever experienced especially during the walk through two days before transportation She was extremely rude and disrespectful Saying that light weren't there when there were clearly lights because of the switch Not sure how someone so rude can be a manger I should have read the reviews and went elsewhere The service is who you have to interact with after the happy people who's jobs it is to take your money Then your left with the rude service manager to deal with On top of going in last weekend I was told time after time that a service guy would call me all week has gone buy not a single call of voicemail from service Even the salesman Santiago called to verify he would call me I confirmed again 5 days go by without a call from anyone. Still with a brands new 80k unit my bathroom door is not in track sliding against the floor and now trim in the kitchen is popping. VERY DISAPPOINTING The manager Amy have been very nice in helping with some gift cards and some free stuff from their Shop But my issue are the problems with my unit Which she told me in person that she would take care of. Can't take care of anything if I never get a call from service. Sales and finance are good But I don't live locally and they knew that Wish I never did business here unfortunately This has felt like a incredibly bad mistake going here Unit is very nice I have literally just a few small issues and it's pulling teeth to try and get anything done read more

Crooks, stay away if you dontt want to be lied to, or taken advantage of. When my partener stepped on the first rung on the ladder to get on top of the unit, it broke. This was back Thanksgiving 2021. Now it is April 6, 2022 and I am still getting the run around. Good luck to the campers. I'd go somewhere else. read more

We've had 3 campers since 2015. A bunk house, a fifth wheel and now we have a toy hauler. We have trusted the Camperland team for service, annual inspections and warranty work for many years. This team has always done an outstanding job on all work, they are very reliable and reasonable on the time the work is completed as well. We bought a camper from them a little over a year ago.Two weeks after the purchase we called Josh Lampe, their finance manager. Told him we wanted to cancel the extended warranty. He said no problem, after over a year, and numerous phone calls it's still not canceled. I even reported them to the BBB but they have done nothing. Had it not been for this problem I would have given them five starts, they seemed like nice people to deal with at the time.I guess their in financial trouble and cant afford to refund the the money. read more

Well I wish I would have seen the reviews before trying to do business with Camperland. All seemed great we found a camper that is excellent for our needs but it was being brought in from the manufacture, Forrest River. We were told it was on its way for over a week, even dispatched and being pulled down to find out the trailer was not coming and we were not getting it. We were a cash paying customer. I don't know what happened or care. I have dealt with other camper places and have never experienced this before. I guess the best thing is to purchase a camper that is on the lot. read more

Just bought a camper with Camperland and our experience was great! Everyone there was very friendly and helpful, especially our salesman Angel! He was very knowledgeable and if he didn't know the answer to something he figured it out for us. The finance part of it was easy also. Had a steel bumper welded on 1 1/2 yr ago and have taken my camper out about 6 times since the work was done, I use this heavy duty bumper to only hold my cooler approximate wt is 100 lb. The carrier is designed to hold 500 lb. on way to Galveston last week and the bumper Fell Off while driving. I took it back to Camperland ( they installed it ) and now Stanley Sauers ( the Owner ) refuses to fix the problem. Says "He would have never done this work, and kept questioning what I backed into. The obvious problem is that there was never a good weld to the frame ( no metal fusion ), And Stanley said he used to be a welder. Bottom line I am out a cooler that was damaged when it skidded down the road and a carrier for my cooler as it is damaged. However Stanley did give me back the $200 I paid to have the bumper installed. It is a shame they don't take responsibility for what happened...he could have done the right thing and spent a couple hundred bucks and kept me as a customer. Now I will Never Go there and Definitely Not Recommend them. What would have happened if I was driving 65 miles an hour and been on the freeway and this happen...Probably a big wreck and somebody could have really gotten hurt. read more

We stopped by on a Saturday to ask about renting a trailer and were told the rental person wasn't there and there was nobody who could help us understand the options, plus all the rentals are out rented. But, when we wandered the lot we found 3 trailers, clearly marked that these were rental units. Try somewhere else, anywhere else! read more

Had these guys install a bumper 1 1/2 year ago and it fell off while I was on the way to Galveston. Luckily no one was hurt? Had damage to the cooler and the carrier holding it and Stanley Sauers ( the owner )said he would have never welded this bumper on to the frame of my RV and simply refunded the $ I paid to have it done. NO CHARACTER NO RESPONSIBILITY. They do not back up their work. This could have been a DISASTER!! I am looking into a new RV now and am not even considering camperland as a dealer. read more

We purchased a travel trailer from this dealer earlier this year. We are happy with our purchase overall but not at all happy with the service. The sales rep / owner is very aggressive and pushy. 4 months after purchase - no one ever called us to tell us our license plate was in. Upon purchase, we were told that several items on the camper were defective and that new parts had been ordered and would be replaced free of charge but they never made good on that promise. We stopped in to by some accessories - the cashier made a mistake and undercharged us- they called my phone several times demanding our credit card information as if we were thieves. We will not make another purchase from this merchant if we can avoid it. read more

Had a tire on our trailer shear off a couple miles from Camperland while we were outbound for Memorial Day weekend. Their service department had us back on the road within a couple hours. Super-friendly staff (kid friendly *and* dog friendly, which was a Godsend since we have *both*). Fantastic folks! read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. In my opinion, the service department is absolutely awful. Our 5th wheel has been there since February for Hurricane damage and warranty work. We went to pick it up today after being told it was ready and that "the floors looked great" just to find out that only the roof had been replaced, no water damage repaired and no warranty work performed. They charged and took payment from my insurance company for $2800 to REPLACE the floors even though they were not done. They are now giving us a different story, saying that they pulled up two layers of flooring and put fans on it, even though the linoleum is still down, vents were still sealed, plywood is still wet and swollen and now there is mold. 3 months they have had it! Every time we call for an update no one can help us or just lies to us. They did not even bother to contact us when the insurance adjuster came out to authorize repairs, or what repairs were even authorized. The only time they contacted us is when they broke the bed bringing a slide out/in, but of course said they found it like that. We are new to the area and had hoped for a good service department nearby, but we will be making a 3 hr. drive to Dallas from now on knowing that the repairs will be done right the first time. I highly recommend that you go elsewhere for any services or repairs! In my opinion, these guys are completely incompetent! read more

I have found the rudest person in Conroe and her name is Karen at Camperland. If your house has a fire and you are looking for a camper to lease to be put on your property. I would not recommend Karen in rentals at Camperland. My insurance company had contacted Karen trying to arrange the lease and set up payment. You would think with a large insurance company paying you would think this would be easy. You would be wrong. After 3 days of them requiring another piece of information our insurance adjuster asked if we minded if she could check elsewhere. She was able to find a nice camper in Missouri Yep Missouri. It was setup in 2 days on my property. If Karen is the best that Camperland has, well that just A SHAME. She was very rude not only to me but also my adjusters and my friends they called and interrogated for a personal reference. Will never set foot on their property again. JUST A BAD BUSINESS. I bought a brand new 2013 Wildwood camper in August and we did the walkthrough and there were several things wrong or broken. We were told that they would set up a time for us to come back and they will fix everything. Well now it's 3 months later and after many phone calls we still cannot get the issues fixed. We keep getting excuses and now Jill in the service department won't even return our calls. Two things, the camper is cheaply made in my opinion and the customer service at Camperland is horrible and very unprofessional. I would not recommend buying anything from them. I will definitely be contacting the BBB. read more

We took our RV here twice to get warranty work and other stuff not covered by warranty. We were very pleased with the work, the friendliness and the overall experience.
